We went on a flight/hotel package and weren't able to request a room due to the deal so were a bit disappointed that the room smelled of cigarette smoke. However, apart from that the room was clean and well appointed.||We were on the side facing the lake. Unfortunately, local people gathered here from 5am to 6am to do some kind of dance exercise and we were woken every morning by the bass boom! Not the fault of the hotel, but might be worth requesting a room on the other side if you are sensitive to noise.||Breakfast was amazing! lots of choice, both Western and Vietnamese and efficient, attentive service.||On our last day, our airport pickup never turned up and the staff were super helpful in finding us alternative transport.||All in all, a pleasant stay in a nice location, if a little far from the old town and main...
Read moreWe were disappointed by the rude attitude of the front desk staff. This reservation, which we checked out on October 1 at about 4:30 am, was for 2 people. Then the son of staying the guests who went to the front desk together to help two parents check out. When the front desk staff lady saw there of us at the reception counter at around 4:30am, she reacted with something like we were 3 people staying in a room for 2, and showed a sign of laughing attitude. That was extremely rude. We consider it natural for a son who is not staying at the hotel to help an elderly parents with their luggage and with their check out processes. So I felt that it was extremely rude and disappointing that the female staff treated our family.
