Botanica Restaurant — Restaurant in Hà Nội

Get away from this restaurant…. Paid 479k for this disgusting dinner for 2 people. It starts with the menu with image not matching the list. Then the VNese and the translation are not matching (phô mai in VNese and blue cheese in English and bad quality cheddar sauce in reality). Bread garlic with butter and cheese? The cheese was just a disgusting sauce not even look like cheese. The steak with French fries and blue cheese? Old frozen French fries like the one we have at McDonalds but more oily, the salad is industrial, the steak is poor quality and the sauce is completely blend. I had to add lots of pepper to add more taste. Useless… And the spaghetti was too sweet. As a French guy, I am furious when I see a restaurant called itself French...

This is a little gem in the making. We came as a group of 10 at a time the restaurant was filling up for dinner so it was a real test for the staff and kitchen. They passed. The location is in some back lane and the exterior is not “promising”. But we collectively find the food (pumpkin soup, mushroom soup, steak, pork ribs and salmon) tasted good. But surprise, surprise, we voted the bread and fries as the best. Both the bread and fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Wow, why can’t others...

It is great here. Enjoy beef steak, soup, salad with a few bucks but restaurant quality. It was my first time here but it's so great I'm gonna visit it again. They serve tea and wine here, but there's only one choice for beer, which is Steiger beer.

The restaurant isn't hard to find, just follow Google Maps and you'll end up right in front of it. There's parking space for motorbikes. There's no dedicated seats for children under 3 so you will have to take...
