This was a last minute booking as I needed a base when I flew into Hanoi. I was passing through and only stayed a couple nights before heading off again. ||I unfortunately got a 24 hr bug on the first night but the staff were fantastic. They bent over backwards to make sure I was alright. ||I asked about tours the first morning and they were more than willing to help. |I had enquired myself about certain tours and most were fully booked. I found one when I was in town that suited my needs so I booked on the spot, as I had only 3 days and didn't want to miss out. The company I booked with mentioned they would call Green Lotus to inform them I had booked a tour- they didn't. ||When I got back later that night the hotel staff, at Green Lotus, had already booked everything. From transfers to the tour, everything had been taken care of. I was quite embarrassed and very apologetic. ||The staff were just amazing at handling the mix up. I definitely valued their customer service and couldn't believe they're over-and-beyond attitude even when I had stuffed them around. ||Rooms were very clean and neat. Had all the basic facilities. The hotel was perfect for someone that was out and about during the day and after a good sleep at night. Location is great, 15 mins to airport and 15mins to Old Quarter. ||Thank you Green Lotus...

Good budget hotel. 20USD without breakfast 25 USD with breakfast, Big rooms, spread over 5 levels, has a lift. Clean. Friendly staff. If you want to stay in the Westlake area, it is a good budget option. I use it regularly for business trips to Vietnam. I recommend booking it without breakfast, though the noodle soup is pretty good, its not worth the extra 5 bucks. Its only 20 minutes from the airport, even in rush hour. Good free wi fi. Clean bathrooms. Only one drawback are the hard matresses.Good showers. Flatscreen TVs, minibar. ...

Location - Not too ideal as still some distance from old quarters area but not far from airport. ||Rooms - For the price you pay, can't complain. ||Meals - only breakfast. but there are small eateries on the same stretch and around the corners. Have a google translator on hand, that's how we got our fried rice meal.||Service - I have been with Mr Thanh of the hotel for 3 years. When he changed to this hotel, I followed him as he has proven to be helpful, honest and willing to see...
