Accessibility is another highlight. The hotel is easily reachable by all hailing apps, making transportation a breeze. I used Grab motor and car services to explore the Old Quarter, which is just a 1-hour drive away.

While there are no elevators, the staff are always ready to assist with luggage, ensuring a hassle-free experience.

This was our first overnight stay when we arrived from Australia.

It is a great location close to the airport. It's fairly quiet considering it's near the airport. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, a private bathroom with hot shower, toilet and some basic toiletries ( toothpaste, brush, comb, soap, towels, toilet paper ). Bed was comfortable and clean. There's a tv ( we didn't use it though ), fridge, kettle and two chairs. It has a key card lock so felt a bit more secure too.

Just keep in mind the rooms might vary a little bit....

The best part was Huong's friendliness and willingness to accommodate us. She helped organize food when we got there ( we were hungry! 😅 ), Booked our taxis and generally went over and beyond to make our stay enjoyable-we definitely felt welcomed.

Breakfast was included in our room fee and consisted of egg, bread, banana and coffee-simple but sufficient. If you're not accustomed to Vietnamese family hotels, don't be alarmed to see the family in the reception... We booked this hotel for an overnight near the Hanoi airport. The location was reasonably close (A$10 taxi fare) but in a very dodgy looking area. Arrived at 9.30pm and walked a few blocks looking for good but no luck other than potato chips and beer.The room was up a flight of steep steps and very basic. The bed was okay. Shower/bathroom was one wet floor room including a western toilet. Aircon was okay. Linen may have been clean but somewhat stained. Sleep was disrupted by aircraft, rooster, 5.30am someone running downstairs, lots of talking from 6.30 am through thin walls and eventually jackhammering that felt like it would appear through the ceiling at any moment but fortunately we got the dust particles. We skipped breakfast and escaped by 8am. No plan to return but met the owner on exit who explained she was building a second hotel next door and the attached video shows the work in progress but not the jackhammer attempting to demolish out wall 😄. She seemed very nice. In summary it's probably an okay hotel for a backpacker but not many westerners...
