Mia Hotel — Hotel in Hà Nội

I'm extremely disappointed with this hotel. I booked a room through Agoda and had already paid in advance. However, when I arrived, they told me that Agoda had sent them an email saying I had cancelled the reservation, which is completely false. Despite showing them my booking confirmation and payment receipt, and them being able to see on the app that the booking was confirmed, they only gave me the option to pay again or leave. They said I could stay one night and that Agoda would refund me, but I never received the cancellation email they claimed they would send. The hotel owner gave me an ultimatum: pay or leave, and eventually kicked me out. I tried to contact Agoda, but it was impossible. I was left without my money and without a place to stay. I think the hotel didn't handle the situation well, as the problem was with Agoda, not me. They should have protected the customer and claimed the money from Agoda, with whom they have a business...

Just checking out of the hotel right now, and I would like to say that my stay here has been nothing short of pleasant. My main concern while booking was the Wi-fi, which exceeded my expectations. It was fast with a strong signal at all points in the hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was super courteous and polite, especially Thuong, Anh and Van. They are eager to help you out in any way they can, and will also be happy to give you helpful tips about the area. They even assisted me with a late checkout upon my request. The location is just far enough from the main street that there is no noise in the rooms. There are plenty of shops and cafes nearby, and even a small mall with restaurants. Would definitely be staying here again if I come...

The hotel is in a tight corner of a dark alley, but the rooms are very clean and well maintained. The staff work hard to make your stay fun. My stay here was not perfect, but overall quite satisfactory and I was able to spend one whole week and rest well.
