Amazing, I landed at Noi Bai International Airport at midnight. I arrived at the hotel and checked in at 2 a.m. I was very tired and hungry and asked if the hotel had anything to eat. The receptionist, Mr. Vu, told me that there was instant noodles in my room, but then he offered to let me check in first and would cook me a noodle dish with in the restaurant downstairs. After I checked in, changed clothes, and went down to the lobby, I was really impressed with the noodle dish with eggs, beef, and vegetables. I felt really great, like I was at home. This is the second time I have returned to Vietnam for work, and it has been a while. The area has changed a lot. There are many more hotels around, but I still booked Ping Hotel because of my good impression from the last time I was here. This time the hotel is much nicer, the rooms have been renovated, and the restaurant has also been renovated. It was great. I was quite surprised that the photos of the hotel rooms were not the same as reality, but the new rooms were very beautiful and the photos were old. I am still impressed with the Pho here, which is really delicious. This time I returned to the hotel and there was an additional impressive fish noodle soup. I had finished eating pho this morning when the manager introduced me to the fish noodle soup very enthusiastically and I asked for another bowl. It was really delicious. I never thought the hotel could cook it that well. I was also extremely impressed with the green bean rice cake served with bananas. I was curious to ask about this dish and was introduced to the fact that it is a traditional dish of Hanoi people, especially in the fall. Moreover, Ping Hotel is located in the center of Me Tri Ha village, a traditional green bean rice cake making village. It's great. I suggested if I had time, could you take me to see how to make green bean rice cakes? And you were very happy to accept. This time I returned to Vietnam, I also had some time to visit Hanoi. Hanoi is in the fall, the weather is cool and comfortable, and I was able to enjoy very delicious egg coffee at Railway coffee street. Today when I checked out, I was again surprised to be given a package of green bean rice cakes and 2 green bean rice cake cakes. It was really fun. The receptionist reminded me to remember to arrange time to visit the green bean rice cake making village next time I come back. At that time, I remembered that I had asked you to take me to visit but did not have time. I thought you wouldn't remember it anymore. Thank you very much for your kindness and enthusiasm. Hanoi, Vietnam Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Ping Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone...
Read moreRoom 3/5 Room is quite clean, as long as you are not that particular. There are 2 buildings, old and new one. I stay in old wing, the carpet in hallway is dirty and full of stain. In rainy days, the water leaking and left musty smell. Guest allow to smoke in the room, and it makes other guest feeling inconvenient. When I arrive, safety deposit box not working. And only 1 water bottle provided per person, which is uncommon these days when budget hotel start providing free flow for water.
Laundry 2/5 The laundry given back in plastic back hang in the door knob. They dont provide iron board in the room. The clothes become tangled again.
Staff 5/5 Staffs are friendly and helpful. There is staff who were overfriendly and become impolite. But, I will say in general they are nice.
Food 5/5 Food generally nice, they are more focus on the korean food since majority of the guest us korean. But there are hot item serve in breakfast buffet like pho and egg. They have nice yogurt. Bread, salad, fruits, banchan, rice, noodle, congee, sausage are part of breakfast spread. And compare to similar type of hotel, the taste of food serve in this hotel is good.
Location 3/5 Hotel located in small street and not many mode of transportation. Difficult to find, and not many people know it. But grab are common nowadays and has gps, so it is easier to get...
