Nhà Nghỉ Hoàng Nga — Hotel in Phan Thiết City

The service here is horrible. They don’t attend to the customers at all. It’s like every time you need something, no one is around, or worse, they are around but ignore you. You feel like unwanted guests in someone’s home. Would not recommend staying here.

The rooms are very bare with tiny pillows and the scratchiest blankets. The toilets never have tissue and they don’t even give you towels or indoor shoes.

Location wise, it is right near the beach and fairy river, which is incredibly nice, but the food is expensive. I tried to ordering there twice, the first time no one returned to actually get my order, the second I just went up to them to get breakfast, which they did not have what I wanted on the menu, so I just got an iced coffee, which took me 25 minutes to receive. And I was the only person getting breakfast!

Then at check out they told me I forgot to pay for said coffee in a very accusatory manor. Typically in Vietnam, there’s a tab system so I assumed I would just pay for everything at check out. So of course I was appalled at the accusation for 20 dong!

So if you don’t mind bad service, so-so accommodations and expensive hotel breakfast, this place would do just fine. Otherwise...

We stayed for a week. Because its off the main road it is quiet. Staff was friendly, beautiful garden. Price was really good.|On the bad side we didnt have a room cleaning, toilet paper, towel nor bed sheets change during our stay. Ofcourse when asked you can get a new toilet paper or towel. Food on the menu was overpriced but you have many options on the street.||We booked a bus to Nha Trang from the hostel. We were told the bus would go to Nha Trang bus station but it stoped at some random Nha Trang gas station where they told everybody to get off the bus, its the end of the line. Gas station was full off agressive locals with scooters. They would take your luggage and start putting on scooters while asking only "where is your hotel?!". I dont know what the price would have been. Luckily we got our luggage and took a normal green taxi with meter. I think its a bus drivers little scam to bring a bus full of people to hes friends with scooters. Im not saying the guesthouse is to blame but double check everything before you book. the owner is very rude and a liar. upon arrival he asked me for and how long I was staying and when I said I would definitely like to extend my stay then he said there were no more places in the resort it was full (it was empty and there was only one person in the entire resort). the next day I asked if any places had become available and he said that there were no places because he had a full booking. My friend stayed one night longer because he had booked in advance and it turned out no one else was in the resort apart from him so it was completely empty and the fullbooking information was a lie.
