I’ve had the pleasure of staying at this hotel multiple times, and I can say with absolute confidence that the service here is exceptional in every aspect. From the moment you walk through the door, the level of hospitality is unparalleled.
The concierge staff is top-notch—knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready with personalized recommendations. Whether it's arranging last-minute tickets for a show, securing hard-to-get reservations at exclusive restaurants, or even just providing insider tips about the best spots in the area, they go above and beyond to make every experience seamless. Their attention to detail makes you feel like you're their only guest.
At the front desk, the check-in and check-out processes are smooth and efficient. The team is always welcoming, with a genuine smile, and they’re quick to accommodate any special requests. It’s the kind of service that makes you feel right at home, even when you're far from it.
The restaurants are another standout. Each dining experience is a treat, from the elegant fine-dining options to the more laid-back casual spots. The quality of food is consistently outstanding, and the service is impeccable—waitstaff are knowledgeable about the menu and always happy to make recommendations based on your preferences. We would like to make a formal complaint to your staff, Ms Cecilie Phuong My Hoang Nguyen (attached is her details) for unwelcoming behaviour which made all of us ( including 9 current guests at Ho Tram) feel unwelcoming and upset.
Incident Around 5pm Sat 14/9/2024. We were about to take tikok videos at the lobby, Intercontinental hotel. There were 8 of us who were filming for a tik tok video and Ms Cecelie came to stop us with such unwelcoming behaviour.
She spoke Vietnamese first, then when she got angry with us, she spoke in English. She knew we were Vietnamese but she did so in order to supposedly belittle us. Luckily, Mr Jacky can speak in English with her.
I have no idea why other guests can take video and photos but we cannot?
She further explained that if we wanted to shoot a video at the lobby, we need to ask for pre-approval. Then, I asked how to apply for approval. She said NO WAY because there is a competition today.
We note that we did not shoot a video including any other guest, as Ms Cecilie concerned but she remained prohibiting us from taking videos, which was so rude.
Staff's attitude
Speak in an unwelcoming manner. She tried to speak English in order to make us stupid while we were communicating in Vietnamese initially.
Unreasonably prohibiting us to take personal video while we did not include any other guests in the video.

The hotel offers a luxurious and relaxing atmosphere with excellent facilities and attentive staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The dining options were impressive, offering a variety of delicious dishes to suit different tastes. The breakfast buffet, in particular, was a highlight, with plenty of fresh and diverse options to choose from.
The pool area was stunning and well-maintained, providing the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the tropical weather. The grounds of the resort were lush and beautifully landscaped, adding to the overall sense of tranquility.
However, the one aspect that fell slightly short of expectations was the beach. While it was still enjoyable, it wasn't as clean or picturesque compared to other beaches I've visited in Vietnam. The sand and water quality were decent, but it lacked the pristine, crystal-clear beauty that some other destinations in the country are known for.
That said, the hotel more than makes up for it with its other amenities and exceptional service. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with great facilities and hospitality, the InterContinental Ho Tram is a fantastic choice. Just keep in mind that the beach, while pleasant, might not be the highlight of your stay.
