Emergency dental treatment - forget it. Called on monday to ask if they do emergency treatment n made an appointment at gp dental partners for 2pm Tuesday. They took an x-ray, gave me a script for antibiotics and made me an appointment with a specialist the next day. No pain relief tho i was obviously in extreme pain and the antibiotics were as effective as tic tacs. Ended up in the emergency department at the local hospital that night for pain relief. Called the specialist the next morning to be told they cant help till the infection clears up. (Lucky I called or the pointless appointment wouldve cost me over $200). After much handballing i eventually had the problem tooth removed at the SA dental hospital at the new R.A.H. (highly recommend these guys-they were thorough and understanding). As for GP Dental Partners at hallet cove for emergency treatment - save ur self some precious time, substantial pain and frustration when ur desperate for straight forward advice, and save ur self the money. Go straight to the SA...
Read moreWould give MINUS 5 STARS if I could. These shops aren't completely terrible, if you're only looking for the big shops like Woolies, Foodland or Big W. Wendy's is the ONE and ONLY shop in the entire 'food court' (who will likely leave eventually with rising rent). As someone who has gone to these shops since I was born its unsettling to see the landlord slowly kick out every single small shop/food shop in the centre. There USED (10 years ago) to be so many shops that there wasnt any spare spots and shops were opening up in the middle of the walkways. After talking to several shop owners its very clear the landlord is raising the rent/lease too high just for moneys sake and he has no intentions of filling most of the unoccupied shops. I give this centre 2-5 years before even Woolies and Big W will leave. Eventually there will no longer be enough foot traffic for big companies to make a...
Read moreI have lived in Hallett Cove for over 30 years, and always do my shopping at the Hallett Cove Shopping Centre, and will continue to do so. BUT, it is so sad to see so many empty shops, and the disappearance of the food court. Perhaps if the owner dropped the rents slightly, we may have more of these empty shops occupied. Yes, there are less people visiting the centre these days, and who can blame them when there is no variety of stores, and Colonnades and Marion are within 15 minutes drive. I also feel embarrassed for the first time visitors who come to have a wander, and there is nothing for them to see. Imagine what they must think. Yes, I realise that times are tough, and we do have far too many shopping centres for the population, but surely something could be done to encourage new traders to our shopping centre. Lower rents, more...
