All my 3 girls (ages 7, 5 and 1) absolutely LOVED their play session. We enjoyed every minute of it. We came at 1pm on a weekday so I guess it was quieter than on weekends and the quietness is what we were after. The session length is 90 minutes which we thought was too short at first but at the end we found it was just perfect (kids got tired properly!). There is absolutely enough time to visit every scene and then go back to the favorite ones to explore them better. The venue is allergy aware. They don't have any food at the play area but they take the details of allergies before booking (I gave them a call beforehand). There was a staff member who kept tidying up the play equipment all the time during the play session to ensure everyone could enjoy the scenes in their original condition. The music was instrumental and easily digestible. Some kid friendly themes. Definitely better than what usually sounds at play centres. Not too loud.
What I would improve:
Otherwise everything was great! We'd definitely come for...
Read moreReally need to update the opening hours on Google and be clearer on the website about closing times. The close time was listed as 5pm on a Friday so we were bitterly disappointed when we turned up at 4pm on Friday with our 18 month old after a 30 minute car ride to be (quite rudely) told that there was only 15 minutes of play time left so “we’ll see you next time”. When I asked why the Google close time is advertised as 5pm the lady just stated “we close at 4:30pm and then we clean after that”. Perhaps update your opening times to reflect correct times that little people can play rather than the times your staff are around? Of course our little one looked so sad & disappointed so I offered to pay the full fee anyways so she could at least play for 15 minutes, and it was only at this point that the staff member offered to let us in for a $5 fee. Little bit disappointed at our first experience at little land. The staff member was pretty short, rude and not particularly empathetic considering this is a play zone for small children. I also think it’s superbly important for your advertised hours to be accurate to avoid disappointment for little folks. Not sure if we’ll be back after today’s experience… a...
Read moreI visited Little Land with my 3 year old and left with mixed feelings. On one hand, it's a lovely place, brightly lit and colourful. The different sections were well thought out, from a clinic to a supermarket, and even a caravan.
Little land doesn't offer drinks and coffee but one is welcomed to bring food from the cafe next door (which serves amazing wraps) but the place just falls short of a five star experience.
For starters, the staff doesn't seem happy. The lady at the counter seemed grumpy and barely interacted with the parents or kids. Very prompt to usher everyone out and not a minute earlier were we allowed in (even though the place was thoroughly cleaned).
We had to wear socks in the play area and it was cold.... I saw a few parents tiptoed around as the cement floor was just too cold.
The play area, while well thought out, had very little actual play items. The best area was the supermarket but the other areas could do with more toys. It just seemed like there were items for display as opposed to be played with. For example, there was just a flask in the caravan. Nothing else.
There's so much that could be good for Little Land and I hope...
