Read moreWow, there's so much to see at this place. It is full of little "shops/stalls" owned by different people. It's impossible to explain the range of different goods as there are so many (including lots of old treasures...jewellery, furniture, clothes, bric-a-brac, etc., etc.). I bought old thinning scissors which are so solid (the previous two newer ones that I'd had had both "died" at the hinge...this one is so solid that I'm sure it will last for a long time). I also bought a small pewter teddy bear for my sister to add to her collection of animals at her computer...which was funny, as we'd agreed before we sent in that I was not allowed to look at or buy any jewellery (I have enough) and she was not allowed to look at any teddy bears (she has enough). I gave it to her as a surprise when we were leaving. You've to be lucky to find an owner at their "shop", and I was with the scissors, getting a small discount. I'll definitely...
Read moreKind of a funky antique/eclectic cluster of shops that have all kinds of fun things, from assorted collectibles to games (board games or Xbox360), instruments, and clothes. Each shop is different from the next, making it a fun spot to walk around at least once - I don't actually know how often stock would change out so it probably isn't a place you'd go too often, once a month would seem reasonable if you're into this kind of stuff. It's a 2 storey building and the downstairs seems to be more dedicated to collectibles and other stuff, while the upstairs area seems to be mostly clothes and some rugs/furniture. Some fun things to see in there include a giant square robot in the middle of the walk way upstairs (no idea how it got there or who would buy it lol), a life size statue of Mr. Freeze from Batman downstairs in the far corner, and some awkward old statues and 50c rides...
