Saucy Chicken — Restaurant in Victoria

We have followed Saucy chicken for many years, Waurn Ponds days to now, with change of owners a couple of times. Today we had chips and gravy as its one of our favourites , trying it one more time, as last time we found it had gone downhill, the gravy was overpowered by garlic which we rang through informing them of this, thinking they had made a mistake with it, today it was the same again and very thin, obviously they have changed the beautiful gravy they used to make!! We now will no longer visit this shop and look towards another chicken shop...

The chips and gravy are wonderful, the gravy is 10/10

The owner is super lovely she never fails to put a smile on people’s faces

The sizes are a perfect portion and totally worth it, will always come here when we’re grocery shopping or in the area

Love this place. .. I used to love their chips but something has changed. I think they've gone for a cheaper chip product and now when you get them there's a lot of horrible little end pieces and less good sized chips. Chicken bites/nughets are great when freshly cooked but a bit dry if they've been sitting in the bain marie for a while. Really...
