TL:DR - If you're into war gaming or want to book an event, avoid Vault (Clayfield), just go to another game store like Irresistible Force. I booked 1 war gaming day here once. The venue overbooked itself and we were told to pack up because of their error. They reached out to me to make another booking. This time they don’t accept booking in person or over the phone, only email to the "Events Manager". I emailed the Events manager 5+ times over the course of 1 month. All I wanted was a day, fee and tables, but the "Events Manager" refused to give me tables I asked for saying its too many tables for my game system (that they have never played). They also had no other events going that day so they tables are just sitting there doing nothing. Eventually they stopped responded. I called Irresistible Force and had a booking in less than 5 min. Pretty sure you "events Manager" is trying to tank the business via making the booking overly complicated.
Response - I did not recieve an email on the 6/08/2024. My last corrospondance was on 05/08/2024 which went unresponsive. As for the booking eariler in the year I cannot give a date since it was supposed to be a casual event but I would say it would have been March/April. I do not know why but I only have this issue at Clayfield, Vault CBD does not seem to have any of these issues and all bookings have been swift and easy but a bit pricy. I've given then a 4-5 star review. Maybe I was...

My husband and I were stuck in the middle of these loud conversations painting figures, we could not have or hear our own conversation it was so loud, no matter where we sat we would be in the way and feel unwelcome.
It is not a library, we do not expect there to be silence, however, this is a public space which we are paying customers in therefore respect for everyone’s space is not unreasonable.
Painting in the store felt like we where in the way of their catch up, to quote the shop keeper “it’s been a while since we have caught up.” After we expressed our disappointment.
We visited the store today with the intention of having an enjoyable experience painting in an environment that is welcoming and not the centre of someone’s else’s social gathering. This visit wasted our time and day off leaving us feeling disappointed and extremely frustrated. Over all an extremely unprofessional and...
Read moreA great expansion of the original Vault Games. Obviously smaller than the flagship store, it is nonetheless a great suburban gaming experience. Plenty of table space and a wide variety of gaming and hobby products. Anything they don't have they are happy to order in. Like the original, Vault Clayfield is a welcoming, inclusive space; sharp contrast to some other, similar stores. Parking in the store complex can be limited, but there is plenty on street parking just off the main road. Nandos adjacent, for an added bonus. Great coffee and...
