Venue & location is amazing & wedding day was fantastic. This is no reflection on surf life saving club or volunteers but feedback on event itself & whoever was the offender. Unfortunately property belonging to us for the wedding day including items for the set up macrame rope/twine/tools including decorations (pots & cushions) & wedding food from fridge & items for food preparation went missing. Excess food for guests grazing board replenishment & chocolates for dessert table all went missing from fridge. All were taken/stolen from the venue during set up. If you hire this venue itemise everything, take photos before event starts even take photos of food left in fridge & condition of building before event. Don’t leave anything lying around that you value. Don’t want anyone to experience this...

My Partner and I had our engagement party here and it was amazing! All bar staff was awesome especially the manger Phil. Unfortunately the person we were in contact with about hiring the place was not. She was very awkward to talk to.commenting on my mental health saying “I feel like you have anxiety” when showing myself, my partner and my father around. She was also very hard to contact sometimes not answering my messages. Then at the end trying to tell us we might not get our bond back after spending $3,000 over the bar and nothing was broken or damage.

We had hosted a birthday party here while ago and everything went as per plan. They were really flexible in terms of us arranging our own decorator and own food caterer. Drinks were supplied through the bar. The hall itself was spacious and views from surrounding were making it more attractive. They have a small parking in front but there's more parking in the connecting street from where you can walk to the venue. For us it was a smooth ride from booking to the completion...
