Mylo’s Caves Beach — Restaurant in Caves Beach

Ranks high in atmosphere, with a beautiful natural beach where you can enjoy your meals and coffee on the sand. The coffees were great, and the freshly made meals on our first day were good. However, our experience on the second day was very disappointing. Despite ordering before 9 am, the café ran out of buns for breakfast rolls and substituted a different bread. We were initially told it would be a 30-minute wait, but after 40 minutes, the meals hadn't even been started. Twice, we were told it would be another 10 minutes, and after an hour, the food still wasn't ready. The staff were rude and dismissive of the delay. Had they been upfront about the wait time, we could have adjusted our expectations. When the breakfast rolls finally arrived, they were on a completely different type of bread than the substitute that we agreed on - when a child has braces you can eat crunchy sour dough which is was we got. Additionally, we purchased a pastry while waiting. Although the pastry was amazing the day before, this time it was extremely dry and hard. The café manager later admitted that the pastry was not fresh, but from a few days earlier. Overall, the ordering and delivery experience was terrible.

Go if there are less than 10 people in and around the cafe. Anymore, go...

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at a cafe. I watched the waiter take food to other tables as well as bring mine to me and absolutely have no friendly manner, just gave the food to whoever would take it. Didn’t say anything or know what the meals were. Stood there like a stunned rabbit when customers asked what the meals were. The staff behind the counter were not welcoming and didn’t acknowledge when I was waiting to ask for cutlery. Very poor service towards customers and experience. Very slow in all aspects, took forever to get our food & walked around like they had no idea what was going on even when people were waiting for tables or to be served. Toastie came out stone cold but they are lucky my coffee tasted good. Thickshake came out as a milkshake, sausage roll was way overpriced for the size it was. The kitchen staff preparing food were not wearing gloves either. Will never return & no way do I...

The place offers great view, and friendly service but the quality of the food you get has gone downhill lately and it's also became too expensive for what you get. The lunch menu only has a very limited choices of meals to choose from now and everything on the menu has become too expensive. The breakfast menu has also became just an expensive, trendy list with limited choices. I loved the place when it first opened but I won't be going there for breakfast or lunch again. There are better and cheaper place in Caves Beach to visit. I will still go to Mylo's for cappuccino and cake to soak the view but no breakfast or lunch...
