A very pleasant day out, on a dive boat, for a mantaray snorkel. Booking on line convenient with a Waiver to be completed prior. Arrive 7.45 & arrive back 3.30ish with only a 5 min bus ride to/from jetty. At arrival at checkin, divers separated from snorkellers for briefing & getting kitted out - all snorkelling/diving gear supplied. Well organised into including to the photographer for the day who ended up with some amazing photos for sale in 'package'. First stop was a 50-minute snorkel on reef - coral is hard, no colourful like tropical reefs but great marine life - fish, turtle, shark etc. Am tea supplied. Than mantaray time - very hectic once spotted (plane) with 3 boats viewing the same rays. Organised chaos it felt like in & our of the water, taking turns with other boats snorkel groups. The mantas themselves & there was up to 6 at a time & were very cool in a chain (males chasing a female) including doing backwards loops showing off their white bellies. A fair level of fitness required as them swim quick & change direction quickly. Off & onto boat 3 times fun, hectic, challenging but very interesting seeing tge mantas up close. Then a nice buffet lunch with good choice provided Then ob Ne last snorkel - again 45min ish around tge corl. Sadly was high tide & a bit murky with limited visibility. Lots of big fish inxl barracuda as well as 2 turtles. Coffee available to warm up on trip home. Overall a pleasant day with all staff friendly & professional

I booked a Discover Scuba Dive with the Ningaloo Reef Dive. It was hard to find a date, cause it was off-season, but the staff was very friendly and called me when there was a possibility of a dive. We started early in the morning, the dive centre war very busy cause all the tours started in the morning. I was in a group of three people and our divemaster. He introduced us and we drove with a bus to the boat. At the boat there was the manta snorkel and normal dive group as well. We stopped at different spots to snorkel and dive, we saw Mantas, Sharks and a lot of fish. Our lunch was fresh and well done, the crew was friendly and helpful when some people felt seasick. I just have to say that it wasn´t that individual as I thought. There have been a lot of people at the boat and I felt a little bit rushed during our dive. There was so much to see but we didn´t spend more time than 40 minutes per dive, cause the snorkelers already waited on the boat. I can definitely recommend the dive but wouldn´t book it for a second time, cause I would look forward to spend more in the water with more time and a smaller group. But in general it was honestly worth it! (pictures made by myself) Thanks

I had a great experience with NRD swimming with the whalesharks, manta rays and turtles. The first day we unfortunately didn't spot any but they gave us a repeat voucher (which the other crowd don't do) and we had the most magnificent day on repeat spotting a whaleshark early. Had 3 long swims with it plus went to 3 different snorkelling sites. Swam with 4 or so manta rays (including one big one). They have a guided tour with plenty of flotation devices for anyone that isn't a strong swimmer. Lunch was a buffet, make your own sandwich and sides type setup. Very friendly professional photographer named Tom on board that got some great photos for a reasonable price (delivered by Dropbox). They give you a wetsuit, fins and mask if you need it or bring your own gear. Transport from dive shop to Jetty around the corner. Important to note that if you get a repeat voucher they only take a max of 6 repeats per boat in case you are in a larger group. Voucher good for 3 years. A well run operation with friendly and knowledgeable crew.

A very last minute decision ended up with us getting on the Ningaloo Reef Dive and Snorkel boat on our last Saturday in Coral Bay in March 2022. We were so so lucky to be the only snorkelers on the tour and it just got better from there. We managed to get our wetsuits on successfully ! Our guide, Lewis, was fabulous, super knowledgeable and guided us around the most beautiful snorkel spot where we saw gorgeous corals, fish, turtle and a couple of baby sharks. Then Simmo the skipper headed off to find the amazing Manta Rays, enroute he allowed us to have an amazing snorkel with a beautiful, inquisitive Leopard Shark, breathtaking ! We then headed off to see the Manta Rays and found a beauty, a big 4 metre female Manta Ray just crusing the currents and having her lunch, another amazing Ningaloo experience. We headed off for our lunch and an opportunity to find out some more about the reef from the very knowledgeable Simmo, thanks mate ! We finished the day off with another snorkel where Lewis pointed out some amazing spots in the coral, we saw turtle, sharks, natural 'cleaning stations' and beautiful brightly coloured giant Clams ! The whole day was a truly amazing Ningaloo experience that we will be able to remember with the beautiful photos taken by onboard photographer Dan. The crew were great, professional, safe and passionate about the reef and the marine life. Would definately tour with...

Poor Service for a rough day. We went out for a whaleshark tour, but were rewarded with way too windy wheather, huge waves and seasickness of more than half of the guys on the ship and no whaleshark. This was not the only thing which really bothered us, because one could argue that nobody can guarantee for good and calm wheather when being on board. From that day on, we tried to go again, with the voucher we got, because the crew was really nice and helpful. On 3 consecutive days we were booked on the next tour, but the tour was canceled in the early morning, so always getting up early to come to the shop, to hear that it's cancelled... really no holiday feeling... Despite one could cancel the tour the day before, when the wheather is obvoiusly not workable, we found out that in the shop the staff told other customers, that they saw a whaleshark on the tour we were on, which I think is a total no-go. You shouldn't lie to get people to join your tour. Btw. we could not refund our return vouchers, stayed 3 days longer than planned, without having another tour, and were really disappointed about the unhelpfull and then also unfriendly staff in the shop. In the end we made a tour in Exmouth, having a blast, with a much better cancellation/ no-sighting fee than...
