Well it’s lucky there is no competition. Several of the staff members are very rude. The EFTPOS only works for a brief time each day during the July school holidays (tax dodge?) and 95% of the time it’s cash only. Miraculously EFTPOS starts working again the moment the school holidays finish. Customers are sent on a long trek back to their camp to collect a card to then withdraw cash from the supermarket in order to buy a pie for lunch.

I also tried daily for weeks to telephone prior to our trip (to enquire about birthday cakes), phone is switched to fax permanently. Mentioned when we arrived that we hadn’t been able to get through on the phone for weeks and FB Messenger not acknowledged, staff just shrugged. The food is ok. They are just lucky there is no other competition. If there were, people wouldn’t shop here. This is the first time I have ever felt compelled to leave a negative...

Went there today and ordered a ham and salad roll, was told is there not one in the cabinet "no sorry there's not, are you able to make me one please" , yes will take 10 minutes , so I went off done more shopping and came back 10 minutes later and greeted by another lady working there asking are you right, I said just waiting for my roll, she then told me to go outside and wait 10 minutes, I told her it's already been 10 minutes, she then asked another worker have you made this roll yet to which it hadn't then she again told me to go outside and wait another 10 minutes quite rudely, I said I'll wait here but she kept saying go outside and wait . I walked out and didn't go back, even though I had paid for all my items prior. I would of waited if they were not so rude, and I didn't want to start an argument. Only just arrived for a 2 week holiday and I will never be back!...

Great food! The pies are delicious. I have had two jam doughnuts which happened to only have a dot of jam on top and none inside the doughnut, they were very kind to give a free doughnut to compensate for this but the free one was the same. Lots of drinks to choose from as well. The bread is all super soft like a cloud. The customer service was horrible. Servers are rude and arrogant. Eftpos is only now working after the school holidays are over. Maybe a coincidence right after the end of a new financial year that eftpos only works for a 30 minute period of each day during the school holidays (the busiest time of the year) and cash only otherwise. If there was other competition, I would never...

A good variety of pies. A few vegetarian options. The spinach and feta pasty was particularly tasty with plenty of filling. The beef and reef (beef and prawn) and chunky beef pie were disappointing. There was plenty of big beef chunks. However, the sauce was this weird gelatinous, gloopy mixture that tasted very artificial. Probably from a can. That massively held back the quality. These guys could do with coming over to NZ and learning how to make a proper pie

Epic bakery! We visited every day during our week-long stay in Coral Bay. Staff were always delightful even though they were getting pumped it was always so busy. The boys rated the lamb curry pie as one of the best they've ever had (and they are self- proclaimed pie connoisseurs). The donuts were so soft, and the coffee always hit the spot. The line is long but moves quickly. 100% an essential place to visit when in Coral Bay! (EFTPOS is now available)

This is a typical Australian bakery located in the shopping complex in the town centre of Coral Bay. They offer a good range of sweet & savoury bakery and cafe style food and drink items. There are a fair number of tables in the open seating area just outside the shop as well. Had a lamb and rosemary meat pie here recently. It tasted fair, good enough for the occasion. Would be fine to pass by again if staying a few days at Coral Bay.
