Gosford Showground — Local services in Gosford

Campground is spacious, with plentiful and clean toilets. There are 2 male and 2 female showers, but they are a bit of a walk from the camping area and could do with an upgrade. It's dog friendly, though you need to keep in mind that it is a greyhound track and to keep your dogs close when the greyhounds are around. Race meets are Tues evenings and there are time trials Wed evenings. There is no camping available between 5pm Sat and 2pm Sun due to the Farmers Markets. The farmers markets are definitely worth a visit, with lots of fresh fruit and veg, meat, baked goods and coffee on offer :) At $25 per night it is good value and a fantastic central location to explore the Central Coast. I came here for a crystal market and from what I saw it was nice, I found parking confusing and ended up parking on the side of the main road. I was also confused as to the main entrance and ended up walking into a small building, luckily I found the event. Perhaps it was the direction I approached the showground, and not being a local I didnt know the tips or tricks of the area, but I would come here again for...

We went for a regional show, which was advertised aa having animals and rides etc.

Mostly it was a market - with lots of stalls and even more seriously overpriced food.

There were 2 rides and ponies.

Also a lot of vendors were cash only, which for us was a blessing in disguise.

Whilst kids enjoyed themselves i wish there were more animals displays and less...
