Zambrero Wyoming — Restaurant in Wyoming

If I had to pick one thing that sets Zambrero apart from other Mexican fast food restaurants, I would have to say the quality.

The quality of food served here was an excellent surprise, I had the classic burrito with pulled pork and chilli sauce, when I took my first bite their was an emmidiate distinction between this establishment and others around, it taste fresh and actually has a great flavour to it, while biting into one side I had the meat, rice and beans mix well together the other side had a delicious assortment of lettuce, red onion and chilli sauce which all came together in the centre and twisted together in a perfect complimentary dish.

Overall a delicious meal, well above the standards of most fast food restaurants and to top it off every meal purchased the head office then purchases a meal for the homeless, to assist those in need.

We ordered a Zambrero delivery via Menulog tonight. I got a text from the delivery person to say they couldn’t walk up the drive and left the food at the bottom. I looked around the whole place to finally find it at the bottom of the neighbour’s drive. The food was completely cold and soggy when we opened it. It was also bland and the rice was more like mush. We also didn’t get the drink we ordered with the meal. After trying to call the restaurant repeatedly so they could fix the problem we gave up. We weren’t expecting Michelin starred food but at least something cooked properly (Zambrero) and delivered properly (Menulog), with everything we ordered (Zambrero).

I am a Zambrero lover that has been extremely disappointed with the Wyoming store lately. The black rice has been completely raw the last 2 times purchased. Raw to the point of everyone at dinner can hear the crunching of the rice whilst eating - not even slightly soft or cooked just plain raw and hard with no give at all - solid pieces of rice. Also the regular bowl has been used for the last 2 times I have purchased large bowls. I have paid extra and received the same as I get when I purchase the regular size. The store was great when it first opened and I was v very happy with all my meals - but recently the quality and quantity of the meals has not been up to their...
