Such a terrific place to shop for cheap party food, frozen food, including savoury and sweet pies, fish, seafood, cakes and ice cream, cheese, ham, kitchen supplies and canned goods.

However, just because it is cheap doesn't mean it is poor quality. In fact, some really top brand supplies can be found.

Prices are so cheap because most of the items are closed to the expiry dates (like 6 months) or because of overstock issues.

Staff are very diligent about checking the dates but you should always check it yourself anyway wherever you are shopping.

Please note that you need to pay $2 to access a trolley which is then refunded to you upon return of the trolley to the trolley bays. Trust me, you always end up buying so much more stuff and have to use a trolley.

Packing boxes are supplied for free and the bags come at a price like all the other grocery chains. Parking can be tricky at peak times but is free. They also offer a pension day too for discounts. The staff are very friendly...

This place not only sell food and drinks, they also carry much needed cleaning products that are normally what makes your shopping bill explore. They have washing powder at a much more heart health friendly than your local big supermarkets. Promise to not cause a heart attack at the check out. I got top brand 1 litre soft drinks at a pocket friendly price of 50 cents a bottle. The also have head and shoulders shampoo at a affordable price. Maybe you can quit your second job to afford to keep your house and family feed and cleaned. Glad wraps, sandwich bags etc are all below the big supermarkets. It is worth a visit, do make sure you have a gold coin for the shopping trolley. I always forget mine and have to jam everything into a basket that is too heavy for me to carry. I had fun shopping there, for once it did not feel like a chore...
