The Yiros Shop - Capalaba — Restaurant in Greater Brisbane

Have been to this shop twice first time we liked the food however very small servings. We got a serving of sweet potato chips and there was about 4 chips in the box and a Yiros was so small we were still hungry after finishing. I had complained and eventually had it sorted. The service on both occasions was rude and arrogant. The second time I thought I will try again and came in again and was taking a look at the menu, I noticed the staff to be arrogant and it was almost as though they couldn’t see me. All of a sudden the person behind the counter yells out you going to order anything mate. I replied yes mate I’m just taking a look at your menu is that ok. This Greek restaurant is a gem. It has indoor and outdoor seating available and there are lots of carparks in front. Its not a very romantic place for a date bit good for a quick stop to eat or lunch break or to hang out with friends. No stairs, so wheelchair accessible. Meals were dearer than expected ($19 for a yiros plate) and it took quite a while to prepare it BUT the portions were huge, everything tasted fresh, Quality of food was excellent. A really good experience! One suggestion: Provide real cutlery, not just plastic. Also please reduce waste! No need to serve a salad for eating in in a plastic bowl. Disappointed Regular Customer

I used to love this place and even left a 5-star review before, but unfortunately, the last 2-3 visits have been a big letdown.

The quality and quantity have dropped badly. My yiros came with a cold, hard-to-chew pita, barely any onions, and just one tiny piece of tomato. The chips were cold too — and when I ordered a family chips, I received barely half a box. Not what I expect, especially as a regular customer who always supported this place.

Really hope they fix this soon — it used to be one of my favourites.
