At last - genuine fresh produce on the island.
On my former visits, produce was limited to sad looking items at the supermarkets. Not so now - Straddie Market had beautiful produce at prices not too much higher than the mainland.
Arriving just after TC Alfred, my wife was concerned that there would be no produce available. The owner was only too happy to chat via social media assuring her that the shop was expecting a delivery after electricity was restored.
