We have been going to Little ship club for many years for lunch. Food has always been excellent and customer service has always been good. It has always been our go to on Straddie. But Sundays experience ruined it for us.

When we went to order our food, my mother asked for a menu to take to our outside tables and the girl taking the orders said to “get a camera and take a photo of the blackboard” as they don’t have any menus.

Maybe she doesn’t realise there are still people who don’t have phones or don’t carry them to order food.

The Menu is not what is on the website. They had very limited selection of food. When I asked the girl taking our order why it wasn’t the same she said there was new kitchen staff.

Hubby and mum had calamari, chips and salad for $24. 5 heavily buttered calamari rings and heaps of chips. There was more batter than the calamari. I paid $20 for 300gm of prawns, which when I got them, there were only 8 in the tiny bucket them came in. They weren’t even on ice like they used to be. Just some water underneath

I also ordered 1/2 dozen oysters. I asked how much for a dozen. When told $42 for a dozen of small oysters I said not to worry about the dozen and to keep the 1/2 dozen. When I picked up my order there were no oysters and the same girl actually argued with me in length saying I said to forget them. I told her I didn’t say that and she said she knew what I had said and I had to let it go because she wouldn’t. Rude!

LSC, you need to change the menu on the website and teach the girl taking the order good...

The Little Ship Club is an excellent family oriented place located at 1 Yabby St,Dunwich QLD 4183.

Ideally located within walking distance from where the water taxi & ferry service arrives with people from the mainland, it is one of the best to drop by for a drink or something to eat 😀

Booking online is suggested due to the popularity of this establishment, particularly during the peak season & weekends.

You can moor your boat nearby & step ashore to enjoy the wonderful views on the grassed areas overlooking Moreton Bay.

I found the staff to be friendly & they ensured that everyone had a great time by providing quality meals for lunch. A special mention goes to the chef during our time there 👹‍🍳 😋

There are ATM 🏧 facilities available.

The toilets facilities are separate from the main building & I found them to be clean & well maintained đŸš»

There is live music đŸŽ¶ played at this family-friendly club. You can check out their website for any further information.

The Little Ship Club has a wonderful range of memorabilia around the inside of the main building. There are great bar facilities available 👍, so why not arrange some time to visit this fine establishment on North...

Beautiful place have been here before.

On this visit, one of our guests was highly allergic to gluten so we asked the staff if there were any meals that were gluten free. The lady who was the chef told us no, there was no options available, she was quite rude and mentioned that the kitchen was closing in 30 mins so please hurry as she wanted to clean up and go home.

I usually find other kitchens are able to provide a gluten free alternative, perhaps a salad maybe, but not here!

I hope the chef got off home early as she had expected and had a great day.

We got a bag of crisps for our mate in the bar, and I'm happy to say the barman was great.

This review reflects the kitchen, not the bar nor the beauty...

Best views in Queensland. Great wine selection. Things have definitely changed since our last 5 star visit with a new chef. Unfortunately, not for the better. Currently, we can hear the chef screaming in the kitchen at the staff, and they have announced that the lunch que will have to wait for half an hour for him to catch up on orders. Then they can line up again. ??????? At 12.40 pm. It's actually uncomfortable listening to it. For the cheapest dish at $23 for 6 calamari rings with a heap of undercooked chips and salad. The $26 burger was a disgrace, and to be completely honest. It was extremely underwhelming and left feeling why bother eating here in the future. I recommend the same to all who read this review.
