Wine For Dudes — Local services in Margaret River

We love going on wine tours, and living in California wine country for more than 20 years, we have been on a LOT of them.

This tour was lead by a brilliant young man (Aidan) who not only studied viticulture, he has worked at wineries in the area and makes his own wine. He was able to tell us a lot more about the different grape varieties and how they are expressed by each winery and vintage that we tasted. This was valuable, as if we found something we liked he could let us know if we might find a better example of it elsewhere on the tour.

Aidan was also very nice and had a good sense of humor. He kept us on track, but also let us linger if we wanted to.

It was also clear from the way he was treated at the different wineries that they had respect for him and Wine for Dudes. This tour was recommended to us not only here on Google, but also by the proprietor of our lodging and the clerk at the bottle shop.

In Perth, after our tour, we went into a wine store and they also said that we made the right decision by using Wine for Dudes.

The van that they used for the tour had a capacity of about 8-10, but there were just four of us on our tour. Earlier in the week we had been on a larger tour in a different region and we found this more intimate tour to be much...

Fabulous way to see the wonderful wineries the south west of WA. You get to see ones you've probably haven't really heard of and taste their fabulous wines. More boutique type wineries. Lunch was fantastic, there was more than enough pizzas to go around as well as a charcuterie board. Our guide was really friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Went to three wineries (these change so won't comment on them individually) but every winery was at least 6 tastings. We also went to Yallingup Chocolate and the Beer Farm which were great too. Also another winery for lunch. So 6 stops in all. What I liked was, we got picked up at 10:30 so that made the day really great because we ended around 6pm.

I would highly recommend this tour company, it has a great atmosphere with the group and the guide does everything to make sure everyone is having fun and is happy. Here's cheers to Wine...

Myself and two friends recently went on a Wine for Dudes tour, and we had an absolutely fantastic time! Our guide, Franny, was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience both fun and informative.

The itinerary was well thought out, and we visited a wonderful selection of wineries that catered to different tastes. We also appreciated the excellent value for money—everything was well-organized, and we felt like we got so much out of the day.

It was clear that Franny genuinely loves what she does, and her enthusiasm was contagious. My friends and I all agreed that it was one of the best wine tours we’ve ever been on. Highly recommend Wine for Dudes if you’re looking for a relaxed, fun, and educational day out!
