This seller takes no responsibility whatsoever, and after reading past reviews which I should have done before buying I would have stayed away. It seems a common response of his is that buyers don’t water their plants enough. I bought 4 mature plants planted on a Wednesday afternoon and by the following Wednesday as you can see by photos were completely dried out. I ensured I watered them every day until the soil was drenched and water pooled above. His response was to talk over me and tell me that I didn’t water them……. and I should have installed an irrigation system. These plants were not looking good after 3 days, in hindsight should have taken a photo to prove it to him. Unfortunately he is not interested in listening to you he shuts you down tells you he has years of experience and basically does not want to know about you after he has taken your money. When we first started thinking about using bamboo to create this space, I called a couple of places that I found online but speaking to Mike at Bamboo Plus, he was really helpful. What he said made sense and got us thinking. I had lots of questions but he gave us what turned out to be some really good advice and so when we decided to go ahead, Mike came up with a great idea that in the end has totally transformed the space we had to work with, very different from what we had been thinking. He had all the gear, lights, large planter boxes, healthy looking plants. Looks awesome at night even though it's only just gone in but you can already see what it's going to look like in the near future. I wish we had thought of doing this a few years ago. Stay away. Bamboo Plus delivered and installed 26 tall bamboo plants in May. Overall a $4000+ job. The leaves went from green to yellow to white over the following 2 months. I called and messaged for 4 months and was met on each occasion with blame that I had not watered enough and to ‘wait and see’. The owner refused to take any responsibility and would not come out to take a look to determine the plant’s salvageability or management. In desperation I contacted Red Cloud Bamboo. They came out today at no cost and provided an assessment and advice moving forward. They diagnosed ‘transplant shock’ rather than lack of watering.
