Montibella Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

I miss the old management & the Italian man who used to make the best pizza’s you could ever have here.. I used to always go to this pizza place ever since I was a little kid..

The Pizza now a days just isn’t the same anymore and I’m quite disappointed, it’s all slapped together & all over the place.. (not enough toppings, thin crust, different base, little flavour etc) I went twice after the new management, & the pizzas are still the same.. their service is at least friendly so I’ll give them that!

The Italian guy used to take he’s time with all the pizzas and make them in-front of you so you could tell him if you were happy or not with the amount, either way the pizza was always on point each & every time.. the pizzas were thick, full of the right amount of toppings, juicy & succulent..

But that all changed with the new management, I won’t be coming here anymore it just isn’t the same and I don’t think it will ever be unless...

We ordered five large pizzas (one gluten-free) on a Saturday night. I called earlier to confirm if they offered gluten-free options, and they assured me they did. I requested delivery close to 9 PM, and they were happy to accommodate. The pizzas arrived quickly and tasted great, easily feeding our group of 12.

Later in the night, two of our guests needed another gluten-free pizza. I called again at 9:42 PM — less than 20 minutes before they closed — and asked if they could deliver one more. They were more than happy to help! Since it was close to closing time, they kindly asked if I could pay over the phone or even the next day, which was incredibly thoughtful.

I spoke with Krina throughout the night, and she personally delivered the last pizza. The service was outstanding, and I really appreciated their flexibility and kindness. I’ll absolutely be ordering from them again for another event....

No !! Never now .

Please don't be fooled by the fake good comments like delicious, fantastic etc they are all scripted! They just supporting their community friends!! Ridiculous.... Please be honest to give feedback.

Few years ago with previous management, chef the taste was too good, recently it's gone down as it's no longer authentic , quality down, quantity of meat on the pizza has reduced drastically and prices have gone up. Note that the prices have gone up everywhere in other places too but they have NOT compromised on quality, quantity of toppings. They have intentionally drastically reduced topping quantity like lamb meat or chicken or prawn & make more profit . Not worth going here any more as it's a rip off given the money you spend there. Seems new management & chef are not well trained on quality...
