Disappointment over the phone service with the Nursery. We have been trying to support local businesses while setting up our garden and have used Bay Rd Nursery before for this. While it wasn't great service we were still happy with what was provided, and the man dropping off our goods was lovely. However, trying to make our second order has proven very disappointing. After never have my previous voicemail answered, I finally got someone on the phone who gave me the impression that I was interrupting her and kept cutting me off rudely when i was trying to talk. All i wanted to know was how many pots were available, what size and pricing and I was going to purchase the pots then and there but after the way she talked to me I made the decision to not go ahead. Read moreI really want to give this Cafe five stars, I had a little catch up with 10 Friends on the weekend, it was lovely; the setting, Karen and her team, the food…all wonderful However - the food was extremely overpriced, when paying my bill?? I was quoted prices from the catering list on the Website yet got charged almost double on the day? I sent a contact me form for an explanation on the pricing (no email address is provided)and haven’t had a return phone call three days later. I do love this local little business, however it’s customer service is not up to standard… I really do hope I get a callback….

I bought a few mature plants from here recently and was sure to check with the nursery expert on my selections and how they were to be used, positioned, care and assured was all good. After a week the plants were visibly not doing well called and sent an email asking why and was given completely different advice and told to do things that conflicted with the other advice given ... pretty frustrating to say the least and was very much your problem not ours. Another week goes by and more problems, but of course now there is no reply to emails or call backs. I'll take the hit where its warranted but buyer beware.
