Burwood One shopping centre has n pretty much every service needed for a smaller shopping centre. Coles & kmart opening 24 hours is extremely handy. There are a few bakeries to choose from, great butcher & separate fresh chicken shop, banks, a post office, a good pharmacy which offers useful Xtra services, newsagency, tobacconist, speciality sports shoe store, a few clothing shops, Aldi, fresh fruit & vegie grocerers, The Reject Shop and a few $2 type shops. A Cash Converters is squeezed in too for you to buy, sell or loan at. There is a fabulous Chinese Massage business, a Nail Salon, Craft speciality shop, photography business, hairdresser, 2 bottle shops so you can get what you're looking for and I haven't even mentioned any of the food options yet... (eat in or take away from Chinese, pizza, burgers, pancakes and bubble tea, bakery goods, frozen yoghurt.... Only a sprinkle of what's available). Burwood One is well worth a visit. All shops are joined and what you can't buy here is a luxury or something you really don't need to get through your normal week! Good amount of free parking with a large amount undercover serviced by a lift and moving walkways between levels. Child, pram & wheelchair friendly. A good sized bathroom is available as well as baby change facilities (that includes a microwave - yay!). All in all, its a friendly, easily accessible via bus and tram if not on foot or driving and the buses pass stations on both the glen Waverley & Ringwood/ Box hill lines. This Centre contains pretty much all you need for an inexpensive, decent weekly shop with variety for all your day in day out needs. Bonus - in decades I've literally never seen the place without a spare car park available, either.

Read moreBurwood One is a highly convenient and versatile shopping centre located at the corner of Burwood Highway and Blackburn Road in Burwood East. It’s best known for being home to Australia’s first 24-hour Kmart, along with a 24/7 Coles – making it a go-to spot for late-night or early-morning shopping.
The centre features over 65 stores, including ALDI, First Choice Liquor, The Reject Shop, and a mix of fashion, health, tech, and lifestyle retailers. Dining options are varied, with popular names like Grill’d, China Bar, Dragon Hot Pot, and a number of casual cafés offering something for every taste.
The shopping experience is generally pleasant, with a clean, modern layout and easy access to essential services. However, the car park layout can be a bit frustrating, especially near First Choice Liquor, where the tight turns and narrow bays require extra care when parking.
Despite minor parking issues, Burwood One remains a reliable and practical destination for everyday shopping, groceries, dining, or even just grabbing a coffee. Its 24/7 operation adds unbeatable convenience for locals and night owls alike.
Highly recommended for anyone living nearby or passing through the eastern suburbs...
Read moreHaving passed this place since the 1970s I have seen this grow from a single Kmart, then a Kmart with a Coles, and now to this. I remember the Sundays where fathers took their children to learn to drive when there were no trading. The shopping centre and the businesses are good however I felt that the expansion is not really needed as it digressed from a local shopping area to some pigmy sized Americanised "mall".
I also noticed that over the past year or so, they have changed management, and this management company only care for themselves and their landlords. They do not care for the small traders there i earnestly feel sorry for them. Because of this management company coming to this centre is a very low priority for me.
What made me hate this place more and more is the constant usage of the disable parking spaces by vehicle owners without any permits.
The management is as useless as breasts on a bull, and the average parker that needs the space are unable to use it.
