I did my shopping yesterday evening , 24/09/2024. At my local Greenvale Coles Supermarket.
I must say I was and am deeply disappointed in the customer service offered at their Deli. I waited at the counter several minutes, to be serviced, while being watched by the deli attendant, me doing so. She pretended to to be busy, shuffling merchandise. At no point did she attempt or was willing to service me. I like to mention the female staff member is a Islamic believes. I am mentioning this not because I am racist or of Christian believe. I eventually gave up to be serviced. As I walked away a couple also of Islamic believes approached the deli counter, guess what they were serviced straight away, by the same deli attendant. After I witnessed that occurrence, I was deeply offended and saddened as well as feeling worthless. I never thought that someone not of Islamic believes is discriminated against,at there local supermarket. Are we not all living as an inclusive and diverse community, respecting people of all walks of lives and believes. I ask my self what has become of our great country Australia. Multi culturisum does not work!!!?
Take 2 Hello everyone I do have an update to my pervious feedback, where I was discriminated by an Islamic Coles staff member. Today I did a stock up shop at our local Coles Supermarket. You would not believe it, again I was singled out and discriminated against. A Islamic checkout staff member deserted her checkout when I was approaching her checkout, she walk away from her post. I felled offended and feeling worthless, once again. I lined up at another checkout, once that female moslem staff member saw me unpacking my purchases, at the other checkout, she came to her checkout. A Cole’s supervisor came over to me. She must have witness what her colleague did, avoiding to serve me. She did not speak to me tho.I decided to go back to that checkout, I was refused service at. She gave me a dirty grin then laughed, I do not know why. I did get service and was able to checkout and again I was farewelled with a dirty and disrespectful grin and got laughed at. I still felled offend and discriminated against. I ask my self what is going on with that colure. They are not an inclusive and diverse religion. The segregate! They discriminate against other religions like mine, being a Christian and showing so by wearing a crucifix. It was us Christian’s who gave there parents a piece full place and shelter, to live, when they were running for their lives. These people will never stop me. I will be always wearing my...
Read moreColes at Greenvale Shopping Centre is a really convenient place to shop, especially for locals who just want everything in one spot. The store itself is well laid out, clean, and easy to navigate. Shelves are usually well stocked, and the fresh produce section is reliable with plenty of options. Staff are friendly and helpful if you ever need to find something, and the checkout process is quick whether you’re using self-serve or going through the regular registers.
What makes this Coles even better is the location within the Greenvale Shopping Centre. It’s not just about doing your grocery run – you’ve got almost everything you need right there in one package. There are medical services, a pharmacy, cafés, takeaway food, and a good mix of other shops that make it easy to tick off several errands in one trip.
Parking is never really a problem here, with plenty of spaces available and easy access to the store. Unlike bigger centres where you can spend more time finding a spot than actually shopping, Greenvale keeps things simple and stress-free. On top of that, having two service stations close by makes it even more practical – you can shop, fuel up, and take care of other needs without leaving the area.
Overall, Coles in Greenvale Shopping Centre is more than just a supermarket – it’s part of a well-rounded hub that makes everyday life easier. Everything you need is right there in one...
Read moreI've been a loyal Coles Greenvale customer for the past 10 years since moving here from the UK, never had a bad experience till yesterday. Yesterday I was falsely accused of shoplifting $1 Tic Tacs AFTER literally just purchasing them at the self serve checkout along with my other items infront of lots of other customers. I was showing all the proof of me NOT shoplifting while still being accused infront of everyone. No right to inspect bag policy was followed, was just accused from the get go. I was so humiliated, shocked and confused. I asked if I could see the cctv footage because I knew I had done nothing of the sort, we went to the office and I saw the footage of me putting the Tic Tacs in my BASKET and then taking my phone out of my handbag before going to checkout. The staff member realised they were wrong and blamed it on the blurriness of the footage and apologised but the whole thing was handled so unprofessionally and has left me feeling so disheartened to ever want to shop at any Coles. Be careful when shopping and be mindful of where your hands are and what you're doing when using your personal belongings around your shopping so you don't get mistaken for shoplifting. Will never return to Coles Greenvale, neither will my family and friends. Still can't believe this was all over $1 Tic Tacs!! I mean I purchased alot of other products, why on earth would I or any sane...
