Well who would have thought Iād have to write another review about this place!!! After not visiting this establishment for 3 years due to poor service I thought Iād give them another chance! Yes things have changedā¦some for the better and others not! My partner and I placed our order fairly soon after being seated and I ordered my eggs with a side of spinach. It arrived with a side of bacon, the waiter didnāt say Iāll take that away and fix that up for youā¦he said he would get me the side of spinach, which he did quite promptly! At the end of my meal my partner did eat some of my side of bacon that was incorrectly given to us! It was there and if taken back to the kitchen should have been discarded and hopefully not reused on someone elseās meal! Upon querying the bill the lovely lady waiting on our table informed us that the manager had said, and I quote āyou ate it you pay for itā! What a POOR attitude! It was incorrectly given to us and then we had to pay for it! Regardless that some of it had been consumed! This was a bad decision by the manager on duty and she should be given some training on how to handle customer complaints as quite clearly she has NONE! We obviously paid for the side of bacon because obviously $5 earned is much better than a positive review! Whatever has happened to customer service and looking after your customers interests? Had we been told you will have to pay for that if I donāt take it away they would have been more than welcome to remove it from my plateā¦as it wasnāt ordered in the first place! I will NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN step inside Jolly Miller cafes anywhere! And will make sure that I inform everyone I know of the poor customer service I received. I would like to acknowledge the table waitress and also the cashier who were very apologetic and almost embarrassed about this situationā¦they were both very nice! So I hope you enjoy the last of my $$$ because you wonāt see me, my family or friends anywhere near your shop again! There are so many nicer cafes only a little further out from Greenvale shops and definitely worth the small drive to get there and avoid this kind...

It was the happening place of greenvale and up until recently, Iād like to say that it still was. However, on the last few occasions that I have visited the store Iāve made some shocking discoveries. One week they had no almond milk so I opted for oat. The next week they had no oat milk so I opted for almond⦠I canāt keep upgrading. There was nothing open in the centre during the public holiday blitz, so I went in today and was mortified to hear a 15% surcharge was in place. Better yet, the girl that served me with the glasses couldnāt even tell me where the additional charge was going (Iād hope it was going to the staff!!!!) Instead she was frazzled and running around yelling at people to do things while constantly checking her phone. Iām guessing she was the manager as the girl making coffee kept asking her to ask for names on orders and tell customers about a wait time and she didnāt mention either to me. Iāve never seen such a shamozzle⦠poor poor management. I felt bad for all the young staff who were left clueless when customers were getting agitated due to not being told about a wait time. When we arrived the gentleman who I assume was the manager was very rushed and didnāt really let us get a word in when we were ordering our own food. It made us rather stressed the way he was stressing.
Once we chose our food (cookies and chips plus drinks) it racked up to a total of $100 for 6 people having afternoon tea. In the end we didnāt even finish it all.
The cookies looked really really good in the cabinet yet when we went to eat them they were rock hard and stale, as well as the cupcake we ordered. It was as though the food had been sitting there for a month!
On top of this, the hot chips took half an hour to cook although when we ordered he claimed we needed to hurry as the ākitchen closed in 5 minutesā.
We ordered a decent amount for how many of us there were and the gentleman kept forgetting everything. Even my younger cousins were extremely confused and noticed the behaviour of bad service and even worse food. Will not be...
