Tek Kebab Greenvale : Turkish Halal Food — Restaurant in Melbourne

From the recent reviews, I'm assuming this place has changed ownership. Current staff just don't seem to understand the organisation. It used to be a pretty reliable place to get a half decent kebab, but unfortunately today it has not not lived up to the standard expectation

Seems like the place is too busy contending with uber eats orders and due to the level of unorgasation and lack of procedure they are operating franticly.

Notes for the business to improve on in my opinion

Organisation: Staffed looked to be darting everywhere and not working cooperatively

Quality: The meat was overcooked, the bread was soggy. The ingredients are the same, but the process needs to improve. The chips were overcooked and did not have any salt which was quite disappointing because it was a big plus usually

TRAINING: the staff didn't seem to work in unison. You had something like 4 staff on yet the 2 previous owners ran the place perfectly with half the resources. A 30 minute wait was quite excessive even factoring in a busy period (was Wednesday night so not peak)

We just attempted to place an order through Menu Log with this company. Due to some mix up, our suburb now shows us places that won't actually deliver to us. That's normally fine, we get it.

However, we initially had our order accepted, and found out 90 MINUTES later that it wouldn't be coming. We had a phone call from Menu Log to explain this to us, and then we called the store. We were spoken over on the phone, received no explanation or apology, and were then hung up on. When calling back, my fiance was called an idiot and hung up on again.

Then we received a call from their manager, who claimed we had abused her staff. I asked her why we weren't told sooner that our food wouldn't be coming, and got a half apology about someone not knowing where our suburb was. So I asked again, why THEY didn't check before accepting, and how they let it go so long without telling us.

This place has to be one unorganised Turkish cuisine place visited . My husband and I have been here only a few times and have been multiple disappointed within their time management. I had a phone order at 7.55 pm for a pick up I asked how long would it be ready the lady over the phone had said 10 minutes I got there 15 minutes and the food was NOT ready . I had ordered lahmagun the lady had asked me if I had wanted it hot very disappointed and very unprofessional.
