We went there quite late and thank god they are still open late until 11 am. Me and my cousin went to the highpoint one last mins. As my cousin just wake up and want to get some fresh produce ( mozzarella cheese to make his gourmet pizza thatās why we decided to go to supermarket. )
I would like to thank you Moone Pond Coles staff ( the late team ) special dimensions, Anthony I guess he is the in charge of that day as he assists us to use the gift card very patiently and very polite even though we take long long time to finalize the payment so sorry about that) meanwhile we get there around 10:45 and of course lots of nighttime stuff working so hard to replenish the stock and tidy up the shop. Me and my cousin didnāt mean to disturb your work so sorry about that.
OK, of course we get our cheese to make our pizza. Also we discover something really Kew as Iām Asian we love Moone King and the packaging of the moon cake grab my intentions thank you and they are very delicious. At first I said this is not the traditional one and didnāt trust that moon cake and I just want to buy the packaging because the Cullah of the packaging so beautiful.åęå where is stylish way to enjoy this healthy moon cake . It will by surprise that is very yummy. The way they use the ingredient is very modern. Finally I highly recommend if anyone live in Moone Pond or Essendon or just want to visit the A class Coles shopping experience. Then please come to the #moonePondcoles they are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Also can i please mention your cheese section are very excellent and for the buying Manager thank you so much for catering for Asian or other countries or nationalityās Need. Tonight my partner had a pack of toilet paper taken out of her hands at the self serve by a senior team member. We've seen them working there as long as we've been going and have even confronted an actual thief on their behalf once before. They took it from her hands and scanned it for her as if we were going to steal it. If these are the ways Coles are telling staff to crack down on shrinkage (theft) it's absolutely appalling behavior. To make regular honest customers feel we're going to steal and are thrives! For a company actively engaging in price gouging to make record profits, if you're so concerned about people stealing you have two options: 1) reduce overall prices to help with the cost of living crises that you're adding to and keeping inflation as high as it is; and 2) take out self serve and put team members back in to scan our products if your worried we'll steal them. We're expected to pay record high prices, have questionable quality produce, pay an absolute premium yet service standards are terrible just so Coles can keep making record high profits. We will never ever shop at Coles again. Terrible treatment of long term customers and it's clear all the staff at Coles Moonee Ponds do not deliver great customer service. I approached the deli on Tuesday regarding a dessert platter to order for Saturday
The lady just asked her other employee and just said yes, itāll be ready for Saturday.
Didnāt even get my details dinner write anything down I thought that was a bit weird as Iāve ordered platters before and you need your details
So Friday I wanted to doublecheck that my order went through. I asked the deli they said thatās strange. We donāt just do orders like that. You do need an order form.
She also said Iām glad that you came here because your order wouldnāt have been made.
I filled in the form
Come Saturday to pick up they didnāt make it. It turned out that someone didnāt fill in the pick up date.
So I had to wait another 20 minutes for my order to be made only to have everything not as pictured In the brochure.
And didnāt even Give me any extra stuff or give me a discount considering that they forgot my order.
Very bad customer service at least put in extra stuff for me Since itās not what is in the photo
