The Kebab Shop — Local services in Newcastle-Maitland

I let 2 bad kebabs go past without saying anything. Enough now. When they put sauce.. they're putting WAY too much. You bite the kebab and its like biting into a container of sauce whether its tomato, mayo or whatever. I think common sense here needs to apply. I am not sure if they're in a rush or what it is lately. I've gotten mixed packs before and even the chips have been... 'refried' or 'old and oily' ? I am not sure. Just not fresh and tasty.

I will update this review to higher stars if/when things improve. So far, not good enough anymore. Remember.. LESS (with sauces) is MORE :)

I had my first kebab in Australia at this place and, since I'm not very familiar with kebabs, I asked a lot of questions at the counter before ordering. The staff member was really helpful and explained everything in detail to ensure I got the best kebab experience. When I asked for tomato sauce, he kindly explained that it doesn’t typically go well with kebabs.

Absolutely discuting treatment today from both staff behind the counter as they were too busy leaning on th counter and talking to each other rather than making my order, I was waiting 15 minutes for my order and they had not even started to make it and when I asked for my money back they yelled at me and threw my money back at me.

I will never return to this establishment as that is no way to treat customers let alone another...
