Honest to goodness one of the BEST Uber Eats experience I’ve ever had! My partner and I were staying in John Hunter Hospital for 2 nights, after my partner was recovering from surgery and given very strict instructions for a new, temporary diet. Which meant no chewing, which is impossible when all he wants is big, filling foods… So I turned to Uber Eats in hopes of finding something, or somewhere that might help to accommodate to his needs… Then Thai Kitchen swooped in and saved the day!! I ordered the Chicken Laksa Soup, but knowing my partner’s stubbornness, requested that the restaurant seperate the soup from anything chewable, into two seperate bowls. It’s a SIMPLE request, I know. But simple requests are too often ignored in the food industry, because well, it’s a busy industry. So when there’s a restaurant that actually does follow up the simple, little things, it’s not much, but it can make a big difference to someone in need, just like my partner was.

Very bad service. Delivery came after more than one hour of wait. Rude delivery person and staff at restaurant did not answer phone call to check on status. Ordered twice and both times late with order with no update on Uber app. This restaurant uses their own delivery driver. There is no update or map to track to see how close your driver is or if they are on their way. All you see on uber app is your order is being prepared. And the restaurant does not answer when you call to check your order status. I waited for more than an hour on both orders I’ve made so far. Ordered on Ubereats. After the first window closed and a second one was given to me, I was patient and waited another 30 minutes after that was supposed to finish, so an hour later. They had no idea about anything to do with my order at all, didn't get back to me after taking my details. Got my order cancelled through ubereats, which was two hours by this point.
