One hour to wait for fish and chips was ridiculous, don't go there unless you do a phone order!

It should take no more than 15 minutes, maybe 25 if a shop is getting slammed, but not an hour and thankfully we weren't getting burgers, because the guy was coughing while making them, never again!

Edit: In response to your reply. Yes it was an hour, the two people with me though it was ridiculous, my son at one point saying "demand your money back", I stand by what I said, you are so concerned with phone orders that you neglect people waiting, at one point I asked how long would it be and the girl responded "5 minutes", which turned into 20 more! It was absolutely an hour and my son who is the most tolerant person I know, even said "he will never go back again as it was pathetic", we also both have worked in that industry and watched with disbelief, and yes it was under a different name and if I've offended you into providing better customer service, then great, someone else may benefit where I found a takeaway meal, anything...

We travelled from Brisbane and heard that this is the best fish 🐟 & chip shop near Newcastle. We got there at 6.50pm and they said that they were not cooking any more before closing. I stated that we came down from Brisbane to get their food. She allowed our order and it was cooked and done by 7.10pm. Excellent service and Fantastic food. Now I now why they are so highly rated and recommended!! We will go back again. Thick slices of fish, great scallops, seafood stocks were great as well.... chips were perfect! Do yourself a favour and get some beautiful,tasty and fresh good...

Absolutely disgusting service horrible oily food charged me the wrong price and some of my food was missing this is unacceptable will be contacting health and safety as well because I watched a girl put a burger patty she dropped on the floor back on the burger 🤮 wish I could vote a zero start rating:::: reply to grace: I never said this happened tonight in fact it happened the other night and I know what I saw it was definitely you shop now can you please tell me how much a works burgers and two scallops cost because I got charged $24...
