Sensational Vintage Cake for a 21st Birthday!

I’ve ordered a couple of cakes now from Merlyn at Dolce Trio Cakes, and they are nothing short of sensational. My most recent order was a vintage-style cake for my daughter’s 21st birthday, and it was absolutely stunning. We showed Merlyn a sample photo of the style my daughter had in mind, and she recreated it with ease and precision—it was exactly what we envisioned.

My daughter likes things simple, so Merlyn designed a beautiful white cake with fine lilac ribbons and delicate decorations that perfectly suited her taste. Her attention to detail is phenomenal—the cake looked flawless and elegant.

We were offered a wide range of flavours and chose the Buttercake Vanilla with strawberry compote—it was truly delicious, light yet rich, and enjoyed by all our guests. On top of that, Merlyn’s prices are extremely competitive for the exceptional quality she delivers.

2 years ago, I ordered a cake for my Little Boy’s 1st Birthday. The theme was about dogs because my little one does love puppies. I did not ask for a special cake decoration, I just told her that it was just about Dogs and advised the event attendance. I allowed Dulcetrio to be free to use their outstanding baking and artistry skills and the result was A M A I Z I N G!

It was a beautiful vanilla Sponge Puppy shaped cake filled with chocolate ganache and covered with fondant. A tasty piece of art. Not too sweet, just perfect. It looked so good that I was not willing to cut it.

My experience was absolutely AMAZING! I wanted a cake for my granddaughter, I saw a few examples that Merlyn had posted on her Instant and I was blown away by her talent!! From the moment of contact to picking up the beautiful detailed mauve cake with a fairy , butterflies, a little door with a heart , little flowers with petals and fairytale 🍄 mushrooms it’s been a wonderful experience!
