It’s so unfortunate that I have to right this review but it has to be done due to the misconduct and horrible treatment by the staff. I had done work placement at XS for a week with another girl from Crestwood High and the first 4 days were fine but the last day was just disappointing. My Mum had dropped me off because I don’t have my license and I got to cleaning with the other girl. We’ll call her A. A had been saying to me that the girls don’t like us here. Honestly I thought that they were just disappointed because we weren’t like their staff. And my Mum was still there by the coffee machine waiting for her order and Isabelle was on the machine. I went to my Mum and told her that I don’t think the girls on the coffee machine like me and A. And soon after my Mum left she had messaged me to say that Isabelle had been talking terribly about customers and how they were strange and how A and I had been stressing her out. XS I just wanted to say that, we’re underage and in your care and there was NO management on Friday. Even after the incident I was stripped of my phone even though issues had been happening and I felt uncomfortable. A and I’s phones were our source of communication because we felt unsafe in the hands of this woman because of her terrible way of conducting herself. Especially because we’re minors. It’s disgusting. I tried to keep going for the whole day but I felt the most uncomfortable when Ashley (another employee) decided to show up and talk to Isabelle from around 10 to even after when A and I left. It was incredibly intimidating and it got the point where we had to leave.
I really wanted to like this place and enjoy myself for the week, helping out but I had no chance to do anything at all really. Read moreAbsolutely appalling service from this one girl in particular. She is always there on the weekends and usually taking orders, she has blonde hair. This occurred around 2:40pm Sunday the 27/7/2025.
There have been multiple times where she has gotten my order wrong, and I order the exact same thing. When she makes the order as well, it is always below store standard. Yesterday was the last straw, I got overcharged for a strawberry Dubai cup and asked for less strawberries and more pistachio Dubai sauce and pistachio drip sauce. I received not even a full cup and had to remind them that they charged me $25+ for it. She kept glancing at me and side eyeing me which made me feel very uncomfortable. I would have asked for some money back, but didn’t want to deal with her judgement and awful attitude.
This is not the first time she had been judgemental and not willing to take accountability for taking the order incorrectly (Infact she has put the blame onto me in the past..)
Maybe she needs more training and knowledge. All the rest of the people are lovely and have never gotten my order wrong or have been stingy with the amount of product I have paid for.
I will not be naming names- but this girl (I have been there and seen her minimum 5 times) has consistently given me awful service and has never accepted wrong doing. Instead she puts the blame onto the customer and does not fix the order or explain what confused her (I have always made it incredibly obvious what I want to order, and she has never read it back to me to confirm if the order is correct.)

I paid over $12 for a beverage that seemed to be a 90% blend of water, 7% milk, and 3% syrup—far from the thick shake advertised. The first two attached pictures depict the unacceptable drink I was served; it was so diluted that it seemed as if the barista had mixed in water after consuming the original ingredients.
Efforts to address this issue directly with the café were fruitless as my calls went unanswered, indicating a lack of customer service. This experience was particularly disheartening because the third picture I’ve attached showcases the best pistachio thick shake I’ve ever had—also from the same establishment. It was rich with cream, topped with pistachios, and had a perfectly solid texture.
The stark contrast between my previous order and what I received today suggests a serious lapse in quality control. Since there was no option for a refund due to the lack of response, I was compelled to dispose of the undrinkable shake. I urge the café to scrutinize their service quality and ensure that the products handed over to Uber Eats for delivery meet the standards expected by customers. It is unacceptable for there to be such a discrepancy in quality, and I hope this incident is an isolated one.
