Update: the restuarent actually called to apologise and explained the situation with having new staff working that night who weren't fully aware of all their processes. Also the senior staff member who took the payment had to leave before my food came as she fell ill, which is why there was a communication breakdown. They also fully refunded my order.

Food was really good and I appreciate how they handled my complaint. Changed rating to 3 star on those facts. Terrible customer service, badly run and long wait times!!

Ordered take away and said it will take 60minutes. Turned up to pickup in an hour and paid for the food at which time I was told to wait a few more minutes on one more dish.

After waiting for another 20 minutes and not getting food, checked with them again. To see the food have been sitting there for the last 10 minutes, without anyone bothering to let me know!

Cherry on the top was when I was asked to pay again as the person who took payment have finished her shift and they couldn't find any record of payment for another 5 minutes. I had to show the payment on my bank app to...

My husband and I went for dinner this evening to The Hills Garden Restaurant, North Kellyville on reviews by others. Restaurant overly crowded, just two staff who were taking orders n serving pretty much flustered. We ordered Chicken wings salt n pepper, Schezwan Chilli prawns with steam rice and a beer, enjoyed the chicken, after 20 mins we were served our mains, couldnt wait to start eating., One spoonful of the dish, guess what I find an insect - moving. Called the young staff who was very apologetic n suggested that she gets another serving., We just didn’t want to eat any more. Asked for the bill. She charged us for the beer only., when we went up to pay, we insisted on paying for the chicken as we did enjoy it., but sadly we left highly disappointed. We were looking fwd to the experience as we love Chinese food. This tells me that there’s huge chaos in the kitchen, food cooked in an un hygienic environment. Would we ever go back or recommend our friends, definitely not. Poor and disappointing...

We have been trying to find a half decent Chinese Restaurant for a while now. I regularly get my nails done a few shops down from Hills Garden Restaurant and began to realize that every time I walked past them, the Restaurant was full and people were waiting for take away. I figured that for it to always be full of people, it must be ok. So tonight we decided to give it a go and order takeaway. We ordered 3 main meals and large fried rice. Wow! Every single bit of it was absolutely delicious! Our 13 yr old is very particular and usually only eats the honey chicken. He thought it all smelt and looked so good that he actually tried a bit of everything. He loved it all and even had seconds. We are so impressed that we are going to book a table next time so we can treat ourselves to the deep fried icecream. Thank you Hills Garden Restaurant for a scrumptious meal. Looking forward to...
