Kim's Dry Cleaning — Local services in Sydney

I took an item here to be dry cleaned that I had hired out online and was damaged by the borrower. To claim the insurance for the damage caused to the item while it was hired out, I needed to have the item dry cleaned and a description of the damage provided from the dry cleaner for me to send to the insurance company. Kim’s stated they could provide this report to me before I had the item cleaned, after picking it up I’ve followed up numerous times via phone and text only to be left unanswered. I’ve since been unable to claim the insurance on this item which has cost me $500 in loss as I’ve had to now replace the item with my own money rather than having it replaced by the insurance I paid to have - simply because this dry cleaner couldn’t give me a simple explanation of the damage caused in writing. I’m super disappointed as this is the first time I’ve ever had something a) returned damaged and b) been unable to get any assistance from a service like this which seems pretty straight forward and simple to do.
