Port Hacking Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Port Hacking Café is a solid brunch spot in Caringbah with decent coffee and a wide-ranging menu, set in a welcoming and convenient location.

☕ The coffee was well made, with smooth milk and neat latte art. The flavour could have been a little stronger, but it was still enjoyable.

🍳 The food menu covers all the Australian brunch classics, with generous variety and reasonable pricing. Dishes were nicely presented and came out looking fresh and appetising.

🪑 The décor is tasteful with plenty of seating, including a row of window tables that are especially nice. There is also limited outdoor seating, which is preferable as the cooking smells indoors can be quite strong.

📍 Located on the high street but just outside the busiest part of Caringbah, it’s easy to get to and free street parking is close by.

👶 A good option for families, with kids’ meals available and highchairs provided.

don’t even bother. for the price and lack of genuine care from the manager herself it’s not worth a cent. the portions of the food also just not worth it. i ordered on uber eats and wrote special instructions on my meal for very specific allergy reasons. they were totally ignored and then i called up once i’d waited an hour to get my food and the manager had nothing to say other than the fact that they “couldn’t see the note” confused, i went back to check my uber eats order and there it was “special instructions” written under my order. manager just said “sorry we didn’t see it”. we also asked for cutlery with our meals, tucked the yes we need utensils and stated this and the manager stated “oh you wouldn’t want out anyway” “aren’t you at home?” don’t you have a fork at home?” just nothing but back talk, lack of care and hung up the phone. never ever would i eat here or order food...

We ordered on Uber eats. 1.5 hours for our order. After saying 25 minutes in the beginning. To top it off we never received our food. Staff was rube as well on cell. I don’t recommend this place at all. They clearly just tell you what you want to hear. STAY AWAY. Save your frustration.
