Modest shopping centre, with a recently updated Coles and shopping mall front store. McDonald's, Subaway, Oporto, Mad Mex, and P'Nut are the main popular venues available. Petrol station is also across the main parking lot.
Main activities would probably involve getting a coffee or burger and sitting down/walking around the lakeside at the back end of the shopping centre. With a major church nearby it is often loud or busy on Fridays and Sundays, which might be an upside to getting fresh hot food from some takeaway restaurants.
Upsides has all of the major takeaways spots with the exception of KFC & Hungry Jacks. Appears to be considering making future updates to the design of the mall, is in amongst a commercial area making it peaceful for most of the week, with two new apartment buildings and 2-3 more to comes this is however subject to change. With an residential area in close proximity. Transport includes access to Seven Hills & Blacktown routes to Rouse Hill among other destinations also available through the use of a newly built metro station. Basic underground and above ground parking available, during Sundays however they are often full, the choice of the two does make for good rainy day access.
Downsides could be that the interior has a rather tired look and some stores would probably do better as shoe, book or dessert bars? At a late time of day sit-inside restaurants are fewer. There is a small selection of restaurants across the lake at the rear of the mall that slightly deal with this issue. The benches around the water could be improved to be more modern & with back rests, and the pathways outside could also be more properly lit as it can feel insufficient. Also to better utilise the metro station, and sudden increases in traffic, a payable high rise parking might be...
Read morebe careful of the parking lots at far side of the open parking, they are not for public which are poorly signed!! I got fined $136 for a 5mins parking, I parked there because my car carried materials project out a bit so people could get bumped by accident if I park on some normal parking lot. the area is facing a bushland and far off the shopping center which I thought they were the least favorable parking lots but good for me. how would I check the parking sign which is 5 or 6 lots away from me in a shopping center car park where all the parking lots are identical. I remembered there is a camera man took some photes of the car next to me, I thought he might be selling the car or something. now I realized it is ugly as he didn't mentioned anything to me and of course happy to see I left. please don't play tricks and put some more obvious signs there or spray something on the floor!! or reserve the whole area so your customers would not get in!! I checked the google map and they were normal 2p before but changed since no when. i am sure I am not the only one get fined, and...
