First day open, there's always going to be ups and downs but here is the full Good, OK, and bad of the location.
GOOD: the chicken was great, not dry like can sometimes happen. Service was great, excited staff and owner asking how they can help and how the food was. Hope they can keep that up. Garlic sauce is great. Parking is free and enough. Location is great. Fitout is high end for the style. Well done.
OK. Tabouleh was average. Disappointing if you know how tabouleh should taste. Too much parley and although not dry, not moist or zesty. It's mehh. You won't drive for it or pay for it if it doesn't come in the meal. Shawarma roll was good but too spicy with pepper style taste, taking away the real taste of shawarma. Is it OK? Yes is it great? No.
Bad. Chips were soggy and mushy with little salt. Can you eat it? Yes... But soggy chips are bad. They will improve that in time I assume after they settle down. No paper towels or wet ones or sanitiser on the table. You get a cutlery set with one small napkin If you have eaten chicken before you quickly understand the problem. You need to walk right to the front counter to see a small pile of napkins. They can change that for sure. The most frustrating thing was a place that seats over 100 people has a 1 person male, female and disabled toilet. Seriously how did council pass this? You have people waiting in lines for 10 min to get into a bathroom to wash your hands of the chicken. No wash bays outside and as mentioned no wet ones or napkins at the table. Hard to understand that. A big oversight.
Overall a great opening and great to have one in the area. Need to try the fried...
Read moreI ordered off uber eats last night and waited over 60 minutes just for them to serve 1/2 chicken with medium chips + a chicken wrap + 3 chicken wings..
None of these food items actually need cooking time as it’s the pre cooked charcoal chicken and simply putting fresh items into a roll. If anything the chips may need cooking if there’s none.
I was so disappointed with last nights order and time it took to get the food. The food was cold and soggy by the time it arrived.
Tonight, I decided to go pick it up since it’s only 5 minutes away. Ordered 2 chicken wraps and a medium chips. Waited over 40 minutes in the store only to see the staff literally not do anything. There’s a whole bunch of cooked chicken by the heat bay and still had to wait.
Absolutely ridiculous. I’m never ordering from this location again. Absolutely terrible service and if you’re hungry, don’t go here. You’ll be starving by the time food is ready.. unless you just finished a meal and you’re buying for the next feed.
Super unimpressed.
Edit: as eating today’s wrap I found a bone which I almost choked on taking a bite. Lucky it wasn’t the wrap my child was eating!! Even more of a shock. Also, the wrap yesterday and today taste totally different and the size different is drastic. There was more pickle than chicken in the wrap and just...
Read moreI recently visited this Lebanese charcoal chicken place and had a fantastic experience. The food is undeniably delicious— the chicken was juicy with flavorful skin, complemented perfectly by the coleslaw and pickles that provided a delightful acidity to the creamy dips and hummus.
The service was exceptional, thanks to the best server at the counter, Abhilasha, who was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. Being our first time, she guided us through the menu and helped us figure out our order. The entire crew was accommodating and friendly, patiently addressing my questions, even providing extra plates for eating in and bags for take away.
The interior is bright and fresh, adorned with lots of greenery and wooden tables. However, a bit more attention to wiping the tables would enhance the overall dining ambiance. Despite this minor detail, the combination of great food and the warm, helpful staff made it a memorable dining experience. Highly...
