In visiting this store today I took my purchases to the counter for service and when the oil I had chosen was scanned, the price scanned at $26.99. The man at the checkout said “that’s not right it’s $75. “ I informed him that no, the printed ticket on the shelf clearly read $26.99. He then went to check the price and returned with the ticket in hand that read $26.99 with the product and size clearly printed on it. This was a printed ticket from a machine just like all the other tickets in the store. He refused to sell me the product at $26.99 and insisted it was $75 and the ticket was a mistake. Read moreVery large variety of fruits and veggies at competitive prices. The stuff outdoors at the front is always cheaper, and usually riper. If you want less ripe or cold, the stuff indoors is the excellent. The variety is excellent and they sometimes have some quite rare produce. The pricing is almost always cheaper than neighbouring Aldi. They also have a lot of hard to find dry goods that other stores in the area don’t carry. Wonderful selection of spices and herbs. The staff is very helpful and in a few times have gone out of their way to help me when I had some questions. Very happy with this...
Read moreA huge variety of unusual and unique fruits and vegetables that you might not be able to find other grocery stores. Prices are pretty reasonable for exotic fruits. I was able to find guava, lychee, passion fruit, gourmet tomatoes and heaps of other types of tropical fruits at the store. When compared to Aldi, this store is slightly cheaper. For example lychee at Aldi is $19 per kilo but $15 per kilo at this store and the benefit is that you can pick your own lychees from the batch whereas Aldi had them in boxes. Would definitely recommend this store for those after gourmet selection of fruits...
