Whitlam Institute — Local services in Sydney

The Whitlam Institute has been home to Refugee Camp in My Neighbourhood—a powerful simulated camp experience that allows participants to walk through the journey of a refugee. This remarkable project has touched the lives of thousands over the past 10 years.

This year marks a bittersweet ending as we wrap up the program. Looking back, we are proud of the impact it has made.

The best part of University of Western Sydney Parramatta, just closed to the riverside. Here is really peaceful, quiet and beautiful, not only the heritage buildings but also surrounding environment. Specially in sunset time, I always enjoy the sunshine with my friends beside the river. It is easy to access via walking along with Parramatta river from Parramatta wharf or Rydalmere direction.
