Usually, I like shopping at this woolies since it is at my doorstep. But what happened last night just made this woolies the last woolies I want to go in the future. Off late and walked in this woolies 10 minutes before it close trying to buy some dog food. The security reminded me that 6 minutes later they would close the store, so I rushed to look around the store to find the dog sausage. I thought getting guidance from the staff there might help me find it quickly(Because dog food is located in aisle 10 yet no dog sausage are in aisle 10 and I checked all the signs of each aisle. Well there is no more signs of dog food other than aisle 10.) The first staff was friendly to me but he didn't know where the dog sausage located. Then I had to check around the store which cost me 2 minutes. The second staff I turned to told me to check the fridge instead of telling me the exact location of the dog sausage so I checked the fridges of the store. Found nothing. The third staff I approached finally told me the exact location of the dog sausage(in the fridge at the back of aisle 1) . Again all the dog food are in aisle 10 but dog sausage aisle 1 ! When I got to the back of aisle 1, the security came to me again trying to tell me the time is up so I grabbed some sausages quickly into the basket. Maybe this action irritated the security staff, he stopped me from taking the last sausage I wanted. I said to him I would get this last one and go. However he didn't approve and asked me to leave the store. He accused me of not listening to the second staff. "That lady told you where " he said . I answered because that staff told me to check the fridges which I did . But no one tell me the exact location before I got guidance from the third staff I turned to. He said there was no point arguing with him. Finally I grabbed the last sausage and ran to the self-check out to pay but feeling like I was committing a crime. Ironically, when I scanned my stuff there I saw several customers walking to the checkout counter without being pushed or hurried. They didn't see how hard I tried to find what I want quickly and I believed I can shop quickly if the staff told me the exact location at the first place. How can you expect a customer who doesn't work in woolies to find the dog sausage in aisle 1 without a clear sign while all other dog food are...
Read moreWoolworths have been selling Fraudulent products, I'll be reporting this woolworths to the Department of Fair trading, I've bought olinas bake house cookies over 10 times and the product itself states it has 10 cookies - each cookie is 15 grams. For the last 2 weeks I've been noticing the pack is finishing way too quick to have 10 cookies inside. So when I got home I opened it and counted them. Guess what, Only 7. So I go to the store and I tell them I've been buying these for the last 2 weeks and this time I'm going to open and count the cookies in front of them. I open the pack of olinas bakehouse cookies in front of them and once again there was only 7 cookies in there. That means Woolworths and olinas bakehouse have been ripping off every single customer that buys there. When I told the store manager rather than compensate me for all the packets that I had been frauded with she offered me only 1 pack. That's after opening the pack in store. Guess what, I bought an extra 4 packs and I'll be opening them infront of the department of Fair trading. I am one of thousands of customers that are being frauded out of our money. Woolworths is in business with Olinas bakehouse and both profit so both are liable. Either compensate me for the fraud and my trouble or the samples get taken to Fair trading and the...
Read moreI hate giving bad reviews, but upon visiting this store many many times early sat and sun mornings, almost every single time I was faced with appealing service, rude and ignorant staff filling shelves.. one man in the whole place is only available some mornings at the self serve, he is an older gentleman and true to the word gentleman! He is always kind and helpful, always running around to help everyone even with the littlest thing he is there. Unfortunately while he is not on shift, the other staff members usually grunt at us requesting help for self serve, no good morning,no can I help you,no manners whatsoever.. im often given bad looks as I am forced to interrupt the staff social circle meeting at the front counter for assistance.. I know they are all very busy discussing their weekend plans and life events, but unfortunately it is a workplace and you have taken a customer service role as your paid employment, so I suggest that the staff in this store take a long hard look at their career choice and decide whether they will do their required job for which they are receiving money to do,or they go and fill shelves and hide away from customers. It is such a disappointment, I've ever visited any other supermarket chain, or store where the service across the board is so appalling. Not even the shelf fillers are acknowledging of customers, no smile,no good morning, nothing like that just ramming their trolleys towards us as fast as they can and staring like we are their inconvenience. I've got Multiple illnesses and I cannot move fast enough to get out of their way, I'm sure one day I will be run over by a trolley of milk and produce. Terrible place to shop.. Retrain all your staff or...
