5 Star Hand Car Wash — Local services in Sydney

First of all I’m a young 26 year old woman who drives a small a class Mercedes it’s not a large car the size of a Yaris. I showed up and asked for the bare minimum to be done interior, I mostly wanted my driver side done and and for the inside of the windshield cleaned. The wall of prices quotes “55$” for my sized and for the clean k wanted.

A man comes over to charge me and He goes "95$" and I was like excuse me

And he's like "your car is dirty" and I'm like "is that not the point of coming here cuz my cars dirty. No one comes to a car wash with a clean car" but to clarify my car was that dirty she needed a vacuum sure but that’s standard.

And he's like "you have loads of dog fur" and I was like "I don't even own a dog…..”

He goes "75$"

So I walked him to the wall of prices and was like "explain the cost to me. Show me the logic"

And he points the big SUV size car and goes “this one cuz it’s dirty.”

I stood my ground and said “does my car look like a SUV … it’s definitely not if your trying upgrade my package then upgrade it accordingly to the next one BUT WOTH THE ACCURATE CAR SIZE or don’t even price the damn wall

He looked at me and said $45

And I was like "fine whatever.” I 100% felt I was taken advantage of and had I not stood up for my self I’d of...

Was quoted 30-40 mins when we arrived. It was 20’ later I found my car started to be washed. 90-minutes later, we were told it was done, but when we checked the inside of the car, dog fur is still on the carpet, the back seat, and also at the front. Saliva marks on the seats were still there. Dog’s cover on the back seat hasn’t been taken out therefore the beneath of the cover was not cleaned properly.

After the 2nd time of the check, they guy didn’t asked if it was ok, he just slammed the door and said thank you meaning I would do any further work, take whatever as it is.

I was charged 5 dollars more deliberately as that guy talked something to the receptionist in another language other than English.

The car still had marks and hair all over which needed to be polished off by me after. Won't be going back here.

Plus, my fren said the coffee there was worse than the...

Absolutely phenomenal. Went there after having to flee Crystal Car Wash around the corner, those unhonoured thiefs tried to charge me $85 dollars for a simple cleanish Volvo V60 Cross Country and also suggesting my car had to go through the automated washing system, with the excuse that all car goes through th same process... unacceptable. Went to 5 Star Hand Car Wash, got my beautiful car cleaned for $65 on a Wednesday evening (4:45pm) with an unbelievable lounge to chill until you car is given back to you immaculate. Excellent service, thats a 5 Stars for 5 Star...
