Has an odd split layout; South side has a few 'niche' shops on one ground floor leading directly to the food court, the north section has 2 floors and has more of a mall feel with high street brands and has a bit more foot traffic. The food court is fairly decent but can get quite crowded. The aesthetic of the place seems a bit dated compared to the likes of Donauzentrum and SCS but it's definitely not "Lugner City" dark and dreary bad. The last 5 years or so the owners seem to be investing and the place looks a lot more up to date than it was. The mall also has a link bridge to the Danube for those that need a bit of fresh air and quiet time away from the crowds. There's a cinema and entertainment center here too which is good if you like that kind of thing. To sum it up: It's easy to get around, great for those that live locally who can just go in and not get lost in a maze of shops, the small size is for this reason a big plus. Easy to get to being only a minutes walk from U6/sbahn Station and with a large car park just off Handelskai. Got a few big name shops, a Merkur supermarket, it's a good alternative if you don't like the mega mall alternatives...
Read moreThe Millennium City is a modern and versatile complex that offers a bit of everything â shopping, dining, entertainment, and even fitness. The shopping center includes a mix of well-known international brands and local stores, along with several cafĂ©s and restaurants for a quick bite or a relaxed meal.
One of the standout features is its great location right by the Danube. The easy access to the river makes it a nice spot not just for shopping, but also for taking a walk, biking, or just relaxing by the water. Especially in the warmer months, the riverside atmosphere adds a lot to the overall experience.
The complex also includes a cinema, a gym, and some nightlife options, so itâs not just a shopping destination â itâs a place where you can easily spend a whole day. Public transport connections are very good, and thereâs also parking available.
All in all, Millennium City is a convenient and pleasant place to visit, whether youâre looking to shop, eat, unwind, or enjoy the...
Read moreI ate there yesterday. The New Running Sushi is a very big dissapointment. "Sushi is a Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice, usually with some sugar and salt, accompanied by a variety of ingredients, such as seafood, often raw, and vegetables. Styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely, but the one key ingredient is "sushi rice", also referred to as shari, or sumeshi". Apart from salmon there wasn't any seafood variety in sight. The highlight of being there for 1 hour were two small plates of fried shrimp. The soy sauce was extremely salty, the wasabi wasn't fresh and the ginger wasn't brought at the table at the right time. There were a lot of employees running around in chaos and stress, not knowing what to do exactly. The price for the most awful dinner was too high for what they've delivered. This is definitely not the kind of running sushi I would...
