Bahamas International Foods — Local services in New Providence

I'm apprehensive with posting because this business is absolutely wonderful for someone like me.... new homeowner (that alone tells you i have no extra money 🤣) and barely 30.... their meat selection seems great at unbelievable prices! I only eat chicken and vegetarian meat-- their plant burgers ARE DELICIOUS and when on sale ($5) that makes the treat worthwhile!

So i learned the hardway my first time patronizing this establishment (2 weeks ago) that they do not accept card payments 🤦🏾‍♀️ but it was definitely worth going to the bank and coming back (AND the manager i presume, allowed me to just go in and pay without having to stand once again on the longggg line)! 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Pros: CUSTOMER SERVICE (this is more important than pricing for me, IF the attitude is poor, i wouldn't spend MY money there)

PRICE Little is much when BIF is in it OK!

Cons: Parking- i think 7 to 8 parking spots are available within their compound, otherwise you will end up on the side of the road.

Location: not being from Nassau originally, it was a bit difficult to understand- BUT ONCE YOU FIGURE IT OUT, YOU'RE SET!

BIF provides quality meats at great prices but they dont take credit or debit cards which is really inconvenient for customers who live in the modern world. I was so disappointed after spending so much time shopping to be turned away because I didnt have cash. Also the turnaround time of service is very slow and poor. It was an awesome experience. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The prices were reasonable. You can get meat packages and fresh fruit and vegetable.
