This academy is fantastic. I trained here for two weeks when I was visiting São Paolo for grad school. Guilherme is an excellent professor; super responsive, instructive and speaks great English. The atmosphere at the gym is welcoming and the facilities are top notch. If you are looking for a good community to train with and want to learn more about the most effective martial art of all time, Carlson Gracie SP is the spot.

If you are in Sao Paulo and want to learn BJJ or if you want to train during your vacation, I strongly recommend you this academy.

Unfortunately, I only had a very short time in Sao Paulo, but I really wanted to check out a Carlson Gracie Gym. Even though I dropped in unannounced on a Monday morning, everyone was very friendly and I immediately felt like I belonged. Guilherme is a great guy and allowed me to observe and learn.

Tive a oportunidade e privilégio de poder treinar por 3 semanas durante a minha estadia em SP, sendo extremamente bem acolhido por toda a equipe. Os mestres/professores são de altissimo gabarito, com uma didática objetiva e excelente astral. Se você procura “beber da fonte” do jiu-jitsu, esse é o local ideal para treinar, ajustar e aprender. São raras as academias que contam com professores desse calibre.
