First time at Durham Distillery and definitely not the last! I went as part of a work event to one of their cocktail classes and had an absolute blast. The space is rustic-industrial, set inside a beautifully repurposed old fire hall, super cool vibe right from the start. The cocktail class itself was very hands-on and interactive, which made it a lot of fun. The instructor was both knowledgeable and engaging, making the whole experience really enjoyable. I ended up buying a bottle of their Cherry White Dog Blackstrap and some aromatic bitters, both are excellent. Such a great time. Highly recommend this experience. Perfect venue and a nice small group of fun and friendly people. Learned about the making of the 3 different drinks, the Distillery and is’s origin. Will definitely return for another experience-100% best time. Just realized I have never reviewed the durham distillery on google, but I do suggest it to many people. I have not had a product I dislike, and have tried most if not all of them between personal purchases, the cocktail classes, and being a part of the distillers experience. The don't fear the reaper vodka, coffee liqueur and white dog black strap are some of my favourites.
